I have no understanding of casuals this season, or why they wanted to give my least favorite HG this season such a power. They clearly haven't been paying close enough attention to see how slimy he is. Which is sad, because it's quite obvious.

It's very easy to see.

America voted Jackson, Analise, and Christy as their 3 least favorite in America's Field Trip. Who is the only person in the house who would nominate Jackson/Christy, then nominated the other one if the veto is used? Nick.

People are changing their minds on Jackson because he recognized that he was hated and cleaned up his act. Plus, he became an underdog, and viewers LOVE underdogs. Now he's not anymore, though. You're overestimating the intelligence of the casuals also. They might just have it out for Christie and for some reason took Nick's side over her in Taco Tuesday (I was rooting for her to rip into him).

Also Nick wasn't going to nominate Jackson. His two choices were Christie (his desired target) and Jessica (who he could beat in a Veto and could most easily survive against on the block).

So I might end up watching Love Island after all. I signed up for CBS All Access to watch some older episodes of Amazing Race... and apparently they only have 31. So needless to say I will not be keeping this past the one week trial but I do want to make something of that trial so, yeah.

It's on Amazon Prime I think, and it's on DVD.

Survivor Africa through Amazon were legit unavailable legally until 2010/2011 due to not being on DVD or any online service, even iTunes.

I liked nicks. I liked Holly's but she is not old. Cliffs was bad cause it was the same as Holly's. Jess and Nicole's were unfunny mean. Mickie and Tommy's were stupid. Christy's was okay but I liked manifeast.

same problem here. at least it's my favorite team playing, but c'mon... 4th pre-season game is so pointless. this one especially so, with the third string QB who won't even make the practice squad starting.

That makes sense for your network because of how many people care about the NFL, even with a pointless preseason game. But for mine? It's for a team that like 20% of sports fans at most root for around here and at least 60% outright hate them. Why the hell would that 60% watch this game when OUR team is playing on another network?

Not having it on is killing my interest in Big Brother.

I finished a TAR6 rewatch yesterday and damn I forgot just how fucking awful Jonathan and Victoria are. Like, I knew they were the worst of the worst for numerous reasons, but I forgot just how infuriating Jonathan is for every single second he's on screen.

I've tuned out his awfulness as much as possible, though I do seem to remember Kendra berating him "JONANTHAN, HELP HER!" in Ethiopia or wherever that was. And this is Kendra, an ignoramus herself.

There's a reason Jonathan is the least popular TAR contestant of all time. He has literally zero fans and there was a petition for his removal from the show back then (though the people creating it obviously weren't aware of the required time travel). He's the biggest reason I haven't rewatched that season. It was a huge step down from the greatness that was TAR5.
