Since today is Tuesday it feels relevant to say that Are You Lost is by far the better of the two short comedies this season Magical Senpai started pretty strong but it has only been moderately above average since then. I actually think Senpai is the better show. Granted, i don't think either show is great. But I personally don't really feel Are you Lost is that funny. Atmospherically feels a lot like Fate and Kara no Kyoukai which I guess isn't surprising in the slightest but whatever. Mac Arrowny 09/13/19 9:51:51 PM #319:	Shield Hero beated. Bad show! I like the world and story at the start, but they kinda devolved as the show went along. Everyone's just so painfully dumb! And useless! Naofumi was pretty boring most of the time too. The way he was literally the only one who could do anything so much of the time just hurt. What's the point of a setup where four characters come from another world if three of them can't do anything? It was dumb how useless bow and sword were after hearing that they'd actually accomplished difficult tasks offscreen. Myne was quite poorly written too. Nothing with her was interesting or entertaining. Raphtalia's obsession with Naofumi was stupid, and Filo needed more connections with other characters as well. The slavery stuff was ridiculous too, especially after he found out how Raphtalia was enslaved in the first place - how does he not care that he's supporting such a practice? I wish they'd explained why the queen was so useless too. She seemed competent after she showed up, so I assume it's just shitty writing. Oh well. Unfortunately, the last arc was actually really good! The two new characters were great, possibly the best in the series (though the only reason I can think of why they didn't explain anything is bad writing, again), and the whole Bokurano-esque twist was a lot more interesting than anything else the series delivered.
