That hit from Son Of Whyachi though! I haven't seen a bot launch another bot from the center of the arena to completely out of the arena like that since... well, like 15 minutes ago when Railgun Max did it.

I have a feeling that team Gigabyte would be here tonight if they could have repaired their bot after the Witch Doctor fight, but the damage was too great and they just ran out of time. A similar situation happened last year, where Warhead was 3-1 and was selected for the tournament, but their only disc was shattered and they couldn't repair it, so they gave up their spot instead of going in without a weapon and being an easy out.

To be fair, I'm pretty sure they own/run a farm or at least used to, so it's not too out there.

I totally called that feeder wedge getting ripped off, but I wasn't expecting it to go with such force. Was pretty neat to see on its own. They put up more of a fight than I expected them to without it.

That main event might have been the best fight of the year. What a way to cap off the regular season!

Yeah, that was a great battle between too incredible bots wringing everything from their designs.

Pretty bunk that a potato bot like Blacksmith gets a spot over 10 other better bots, but the top 16 will still be incredible. Anybody else want to see a weapon clash between Tombstone and SOW?

My most wanted first-round battle is actually a battle of the two Team Whyachi bots. It would be interesting to see if Hydra could flip SoW and conquer its predecessor, plus we haven't actually seen how well Hydra could handle spinners yet. It would be a tough test, but if Hydra proves that it's tough enough to survive SoW, then I think it can go all the way to a championship. I'd also love to see a clash of drums between Minotaur and Yeti.

HUGE vs. Bite Force, Minotaur vs. Black Dragon, and Quantum vs. Death Roll are the three potential re-matches that I most want to see.

I'm pretty happy with how the fights went. I can't stand Blacksmith or his creator but they did control the match. That guy is the biggest fucking poutypuss on the planet lol.

I'm glad to see Huge make it through. I know he'll never win it all, but it's still a really viable bot with a unique design.

I dunno who I'm rooting for at this point. I've always been a Bite Force fan since Paul Ventimiglia is such a humble dude, despite being so unstoppable. I've always loved Witch Doctor's team, so seeing them actually be competitive this year is a treat. Idk man. There's a lot of good robots.
