Yes, that is correct I believe, but ajani made it his mission to get people to stop believing in heliod after how badly he screwed over elspeth. My guess is that ajani finds some way to prove to everyone that heliod betrayed elspeth and everyone stops believing in him because of that atrocity, which will weaken heliod or even make him disappear.

Edit: However, I don't think gods will auto-resurrect from necessarily everything, even if they have believers, or else elspeth wouldn't have been able to permanently kill xenagos with the godsend. So maybe somehow ajani somehow forges a new godsend-type weapon and slays heliod himself with it?

Commander started as a great idea: let's build a more casual-oriented format.

Then people who wanted to win moved in and exploited the format in a way that showed it really isn't all that casual-oriented when people optimize it. But people still play it despite its flaws due to inertia. tl;dr Commander has problems and I'm just not interested in it at all.

Theros leaks look cool. Nothing too crazy plus great flavor. That's a good combination.

Compounding the issue is that a lot of precon Commander product made mechanics that actively discourage interaction. Experience counters were the most nauseating, but cards that scale with Commander tax and sweet god the Eminence ability word are awful.

Man I havent even logged into arena for a week. I hate Eldraine Limited on there, even though its pretty fun in paper.

Commander has a lot of house rules at least all the groups I played with. My main group doesn't allow infinsor anything that instantly reduces your life total. However it's still commander so by like turn 6 someone has already won or got a good enough combo to threaten the whole table.

Used to play Arena pretty much every day. Haven't logged in since the first week of Eldraine because I hate the how limited plays there and how much standard has been broken.

Is W&6 not running around much to punish it?

It has certainly made my life more difficult. I was 8-2, losing only to RUG delver. It has forced us to cut back on x/1 creatures. It's a more even matchup than in the past.

Everybody seems to think they have a good DnT matchup, but I think it is skewed by there being a lot of weak players since people see it as a cheap deck to enter the format with.

Its a new Mystery Booster set that is available at Magicfest Richmond. Its all reprints (and the set is huge, over 1,000 cards), but each pack has a playtest card thats kinda Future Sight-y, like a hey we could maybe do something like this someday, but also maybe not. Some are more realistic than others. The playtest cards arent legal in any sanctioned constructed formats, but you can play them in the limited format.
