This, yes. But then I think back to Angelina's idol hunt in DvG and there was just SO much more personality and emotion involved. Dean's just slightly douchey/cocky, and Tommy is bland as fuck.

This was super telegraphed by the last episode unfortunately, but I appreciate how hard the editors are trying to make us take Dean seriously as a contender when he was presented as a joke person who had two INV episodes at the start of the season.

I kinda love how they set up Lauren all along as the only other contender besides Tommy and now she's suddenly like... gone. They are trying to set up Tommy/Dean as the contenders so FTC is more excitinb but it's so sloppy imo.

Noura is so amazing too, lol. She deserved a better season to shine on.

Going into this season, we had Marquesas and Micronesia as the only two seasons out of thirty-eight in which the female cast never fell into the minority.

This season lasted thirty-eight fucking days before snatching a potential third season from that list.

All so that, let's be honest, one of two twenty-something white guys can win Survivor again.
