Yeah, I normally don't open gifts cause I don't want the eggs but with the Sinnoh event I've been going to town on them hoping specifically for him. Very happy I got him.

Now Nincada is my buddy...I'm just gonna evolve him when I get the chance. I think if they were going to do a Shedinja thing they'd have done it by now and I don't have anything left to evolve.

It's fine as long as they make Nincada available again. They really messed that one up.

It should've just been released in the wild along with a quest that says "Evolve a Nincada" which gave Shedinja or something like that.

At the very least not make Nincada exclusive to small periods.

I'll drop the odd Rare Candy Ninjask's way in case they do pull that shit. It'll soften the blow (though I'd still need another Nincada).

But either way. Complete! For the first time since the game came out I have every Pokemon it is possible for me to obtain. So that's not counting raids I missed like Dialga/Palkia/Giratina, or regionals, or Pokemon like Shedinja that were available in limited research

Got Alomomola yesterday near the mall where I saw Sonic, and then Audino just now right before going to sleep, so I'm back on top of the dex once again.

I got 0 shiny lickitung from the 6 free pass raids. My wife got 1.

BUT I got 3 of the 'hatch 3 eggs' quests from the stops. Which I finished during the 3 hour window. I want 2 sure if the boosted shiny rate applies to the luckitung from field research or just from the raids... But TWO out of THREE field research luckitung were shiny!

I went to a restaurant yesterday. There were 3 older, 60+ish year old people outside waiting for their food. All 3 had tattoos and leather jackets, 2 men 1 woman. They were all playing Pokemon GO and talking about Pokemon. It was a great site to see.

I hatched around 40 eggs over the weekend hoping for a Shiny Happiny. No such luck! I did hatch a Shiny Igglybuff so that's a new one for me at least. I still have 7 event eggs in inventory so here's hoping.

And Happiny is still in 7k eggs but it's rate is down to 2% currently so it's less likely.

Annnnd they just updated to indicate that ONLY fossil Pokemon will be hatching from 7k eggs for an undetermined amount of time so screw my Shiny Blissey Dream.

Yeah I don't understand why we can't evolve anything with a hat

is it really that hard to add a hat onto the models of the evolved forms? Raichu already has a party hat form, it's literally just a palette swap.

Yeah, wife and I got one of each clone tonight and we just need bulbasaur to complete the hat set. All in all a lackluster event though.

From a collector's perspective, if you want to have a living dex it's a major gift that you can't evolve anything with a hat this event.

Hopefully they don't make it so rare, that the event might as well not be there.

I'd assume Nincada is old enough by now for that to not be the case, but you never know.

It's ok, because due to alts I only need to see 5 Nincada during the event to get enough candy for an evolution.

And now I have over 100 rare candies on both accts anyway so it's ok. It's better this way.

Very nearly annoying though.
