She has some reach on her legs and pound is disjointed, but they have made it so characters appendages are very much a hitbox and a hurtbox. Mewtwos tail has turned him into a failure. It's as mentioned earlier diajoints and camping are very effective against her since she has no answer to that. With weaker characters, especially one that's contender for worse in the game, those flaws can be apparent especially once you start fighting better people who know how to exploit those flaws. That's not to say you can't succeed with Puff, I know we have a very good puff player here in Texas and I've heard Hungrybox is going decently with Ultimate Puff. And that's even less of a factor when playing Online. Puff still has a great punish game when she gets up close to you and good edgeguarding. But you could focus on a more simple and effective character like Lucina or Wolf to help you level up more effectively if you feel frustrated when playing Puff. --- Aut viam inveniam aut faciam. He also dominates in the Fox matchup which most people say is unfavorable for Puff. Granted, he got his ass kicked in the MU for years before attaining dominance, but he now destroys all styles of Fox. Which is very impressive if you understand the game, as Fox has so many options he can be played in very many different ways. --- (... But he recently won a tournament and he has one PGR win against RFang which I think makes him the only melee player to have one aside from Leffen who has PGR wins on Maister and Salem and probably someone else. Also the thing about characters is that sometimes people are wrong about them. I do think it's safe to say Puff is not a good character but some characters have proven themselves to be good. Elegant believes Luigi is a high tier character and has at least shown results with him, even making into the PGR. Game and Watch is the character in this game with the weirdest perception. People used to believe he was a low tier character, Zero even put him in bottom tier, until Maister started showing how dumb game and watch is. Maister also thinks he's top 10 but while most don't think that he's often thought of as at least high tier if not top tier. His overall tournament results have also gone up, he's sitting at #16 in OrionStats and is only 20 points behind Inkling at #15. While I don't think Puff is going to climb up you never know. That Dr Mario is really good, didn't expect to get wrecked by it. Ace, your puff definitely outshines mine for sure, only reason that game was close was because of those two rest misses, otherwise you would have totally owned me lol.
