Right now I can absolutely, comfortably, go either way between DYL and HB, but HB's super-defensive response to me not even saying I was planning on voting him (along with DYL looking slightly better as a result of his interactions with HB, even though I think they very well could both be scum engaging in pageantry for our benefit) has ironically led to me wanting to vote for him.

Of course, in a game where we're very much not supposed to meta the flavor, Chief Wiggum could also easily either a safelisted character or even a scum character. Or not a cop at all. We really don't know, but it seems like a very very obvious role/power matchup for a game that probably doesn't have many very obvious ones. Hell there could even be multiple cops!

Well yes but y'know lynching a claimed cop is a particularly dangerous situation regardless of circumstances. That makes it a bit different than if it were a regular ol' vanilla claim.

Ending day 1 super early still is bad overall because it denies all of town extra info. If the day ended 20 hours into the game and I flipped scum, you wouldn't have much of a read as to who to scan next would you? These 48+ hours should have given you more of a read on people.

The reality of course would be me flipping town, and thus you having even less info.

Ah. Well, just thinking aloud, really, there are a myriad of scenarios. Many hosts would likely think twice about putting such an obviously one-to-one character with an obvious role on a safelist... but stranger things have certainly happened, and meta'ing such a thing is dumb to do here, so yeah, take that particular comment with a grain of salt.

There's likely scum in MZero/SBell/Red by the way. SBell cited our recent mason game discussion of MZero as his reason that MZero (and myself?) are scum but his reasoning was the literal opposite of what we had discussed. Our previous logic would dictate that MZero is town in this case. But SBell doubled down on his reasoning so I voted MZero to see how far he would take it, but then he quickly went "oh wait my reasoning is wrong ha ha?" Red meanwhile made a really uncharacteristic bandwagon vote on MZero after criticizing the lynch minutes before, then later just hopped off as soon as something else happened.

The circumstances for all three of those players to be town are really unlikely in my mind. If SBell is scum, MZero is most likely town. If SBell and MZero are both town, Red looks more like scum. MZero can also just be scum though because the evidence of his towniness is somewhat lacking. Regardless, it would be cool if MZero appeared.

The DYL lynch is kind of like a black hole at this point. The longer people talk about it the more it demands to be resolved.

I could support a DYL lynch or a Scare lynch, or maybe a Maggie lynch. Advantage to SBell Maggie. But really I think Scare needs to be threatened because he's slippery scum, DYL is kind of hogging attention, and we now have a cop claim on the table which generally means we no longer have a cop.

Let's try this again.

I pretty much agree with this (even if it is Scare reacting to a potential Scare lynch when he's been... questionable at best).

It feels weird how sure of yourself you were when I challenged your reasoning upfront. Like you did genuinely mix up the logic but were overly confident in where you wanted to put your vote based on logic that was admittedly not that strong to begin with

I'm on break now.

And that I'm completely reversing everything I said about Corrik when I was upset last night. His behavior could not be more opposite of his behavior towards the Death lynch last game. He was a virtual non factor on the lynch, but he was calling people scummy for NOT wanting the day to end early last game.

This game has doing his best to drag it out. He has not at any point said DYL is town. He has only dismissed any and all reasoning he might be scum without saying he isn't. His focus is on pulling out whatever claims he can wrench out of people. I don't think he is trying to find scum, I think he is trying to find town power.

Thank you for the apology though. I get badly triggered when I feel like I can't say what's on my mind and someone rubs it in my face.
