You don't have the skills to really be efficient but the general workflow that's true at all levels is

1) Put up Inner Quiet
2) Figure out how many progress actions you need and get the craft to the point where using one more will finish
3) Focus on quality, each Touch action you do will make your Inner Quiet go up, making each quality increase stronger
4) Manage durability during this proactively with skills like Waste Not and Manipulation instead of Mend when you can
5) Finish the craft when you're at max quality or about to run out of durability

I can't really speak to leveling specifics but the core crafting rotation revolves around getting max IQ stacks and using them on buffing the level 50 skill (Byregot's Blessing) so you're kind of playing a different game until then

teamcraft has both community-posted crafting rotations and a crafting simulator that are extremely helpful

make an account, input your stats, then search the rotations for something that gives 100% HQ. if none exist, play around in the crafting simulator until you find something that works. once you get a working rotation, export it to a macro

expert crafting is an entirely different beast from regular crafting, anyways

half of your knowledge of rotations goes straight out the window because it's hasty/prudent time

Thanks! This was actually enough to get me to be able to craft the level 20 Ishgardian Restoration item with at least 50 collectibility so I can at least start turning things in and leveling a bit faster.

passed adds phase once but we didnt have enough mitigation for the aoe afterwards so we still died

There's not really an "obvious" answer to this besides farming new Legendary Node mats on patch days. Maybe the BTN-specific aethersand? Apart from that you have to figure out what is selling well on the market board, which right now is probably mats for the Ishgard Restoration crafts that aren't on the MB? I dunno. Sometimes random old timed node mats sell for a bunch, too.

You can also farm scrips and buy materia to sell.

You might be able to join a discord or linkshell or one of those goofy group things that coordinates it. Pretty sure people still do Eureka during downtime between patches

I jumped in hoping with the reset there would be more people and it was pretty empty.

Anyway, almost at Shadowbringers. Alphinaud and Yshtola gameplay was neat I guess. But holy shit, feels like they're quickly writing Lyse out of the story now. Figures. But if this is leading up to something similar to HW with just Alisaie and Tataru as my fellow Scions that's cool. But if Tataru doesn't come with me I'll riot.

What do you mean by older group content?

For "normal" story content and sidequests (story dungeons, normal raids, 24-mans, sidequests like Triad and 4 Lords) the roulette system makes sure they're always populated with players. Queues might be slightly longer than average but you shouldn't have to worry about it. For hard mode (savage and extreme), no not really, people just cheese those by outleveling now.

a) its not required to kill pazuzu. you can buy his feathers for 900 total crystals from the expedition birdwatcher near the north of town

b) pazuzu actually happens all the time. He can literally be solo spawned, and people do it still. if you're on primal, i can just do it for you sometime.
(Note that it still requires gales weather for the NM to spawn, and the monsters are killed at night. Monsters can be killed before gales starts.)

Everything but savage fights (and bahamut raids which are savage fights in disguise) is very easily accessible. You can still get savages done unsynced, and if you're willing to wait, with a team that specifically wants to revisit them.

You know how Gridania has that 'in harmony with nature' schtick? The nature spirits threw a shitfit and refused to accept the new people. Remember Gridania is a town that accepts child sacrifice if it keeps the spirits chill.
