That's bs. Essential workers whose pay hasnt changed are the ones getting ficked while people collecting unemployment are making more money than they did working. That's what doesn't make any sense

People who are still working are braving the dangerous conditions of the outbreak because their jobs specifically are needed to keep people alive, whether they're doing their best to keep people alive in hospitals or just putting boxes of cereal on shelves in a supermarket.

People who lost their job are getting 2400 per month PLUS standard benefits PLUS the stimulus, but yeah fuck the working class they're so blessed and well off that including them in a stimulus is criminal.

Imagine you are a oh 22 year old, you were going to college before and paying for partially by working part time at a fast food place.

This all hit and BOOM no more college for now...but guess what, your job is still around, you can't quit, but all your friends who got laid off are making 4x as much as you staying at home.

Now.....a stimulus check goes out as well, imagine if it only went to the people actually not working lol.

It's already incredibly unfair, and if you go to a fast place you can see thepeopll are pretty disgruntled lol.

Everyone deserve both the stimulus check AND the emergency per week money honestly. It shouldn't even exist, it should just be UBI but you get it even if your working (just can use it for savings or whatever).

It's not fair that people who are working emergency jobs right now are in effect not getting $3000 + a month from the government.

It should be universal and fair. If people need emergency funds right now, EVERY american should get those emergency funds, not just those who are not working.
