It starts out as an enjoyable but tropey college comedy but once the characters get established it quickly becomes one of the most clever and heartfelt shows I've ever seen. Frankie's a pretty unlikable addition, and Elroy doesn't add much though I like the actor. The season also starts slow imo but the last three episodes are some of the best in the entire show and the series finale might be the best finale I've ever seen. I saw some of the episodes after Troy/Danny Glover left, but without the Troy & Abed dynamic I wasn't super into it. Then I think I just didn't see anything from the Yahoo seasons.
