I'm a vig, my win con is to shoot a zombie. If we wanted to, I could shoot Bolt tonight now that he's confirmed zombie. Obviously, we don't want town to escape, however, either I and a zombie leave, which is good for town, or I miss and the Lea roulette kills town anyway. I'm definitely shooting tonight, out of boredom, but it's a secret as to who~

Disclaimer - this argument is because it solely helps me. You won't shoot me when he flips because I got scum lynched, so I'm safe. I'd rather you shoot randomly so you 1. have the chance to hit scum that's not confirmed, and 2. you don't exit the game if you hit town and at least you're kind of confirmed town at that point

I don't think anyone has revealed their actual wincon or ever will until near endgame (except maybeeeeee Arti). Can't really blame them, cause town mostly benefits from other town sticking around and are incentivised to not kill them

I have! I'm trying to be as honest and fair as possible because I think it legitimately gives me a better shot at completing my singular wincon, or win with town. It might be a blunder that gets me killed but I've outlined multiple times why I'm doing what I'm doing. I want to draw protection, I want more night actions for scans (to win and to find scum), and I want to lynch scum so town gets closer to a victory.

I really have nothing to gain by lying at this point

Yeah that's why I was thinking you might be telling the truth. Also, replace killed at the end of my last post with win because I am equating town leaving with them getting killed since to me it is pretty much the same cause I do not expect my wincon to ever happen.

Aecioo has a bold claim, claiming cop. I could definitely see claiming that to stay safe at night or to try to get brownie points - I'm just not sure if it'd be worth fake claiming this early.

So far I have only seen irreverent and disappointed Lea - this game seems like Disappointed Lea so I am completely trusting of her being nonscum.

That's fine and I agree with you that she's probably not scum.

The fact remains that we are floating the idea to not lynch someone who has shouted from the mountain top that they are scum, in the hopes that someone who is not confirmed in any way will kill them tonight and leave, losing us someone who is town just so we can panic in the next 6 hours and try and lynch someone.

I imagine immediately, gauging off of mine.

Also, Aecioo - I think we shouldn't focus as much on people leaving. I think it's more pertinent to find the scum who can create other scum and let people leave whenever. Focusing on people leaving makes us stay at a standstill - and assuming that there is someone creating Zombies we have to assume there can't be many at fist. It'd be better to try to find the zombie maker, and let Lea kill bolt since she's already said she's killing someone no matter what tonight.

Again, I agree but on the numbers side of things you staying in the game is more beneficial for me and the rest of town than you leaving as well. We should lynch Bolt regardless.

My best guess is that it's a combination of helping their wincons somehow, being a weird game in general, thinking Lea is cool, or being afraid of being shot by Lea instead of Bolt. In a game where dying makes you lose instantly a vig claim is a little scary sounding and so giving them a clear shot means you're more likely to stay alive.

So if there is a Zombie maker, then the independent scum are a recruiting team. That would mean that, likely, we're looking at an Independent Roleblocker.

Which means the Independent Roleblocker would have to intentionally roleblock Lea over Aecioo, which harms Town more.

So I guess the question becomes if they would intentionally do Town dirty like that.

At the end of the day this game is bizarre and we have no idea what peoples roles are or what their individual win conditions are. I take every claim with a grain of salt, as should you all, even when it comes to my own claim of cop. You have no idea what my win condition is and I don't know what yours is. What it all comes down to is that town all has the same win condition - eliminate scum. We have someone who has outright claimed scum and is trying to stop us from lynching him.

If you truly believe that not killing the one CONFIRMED scum and leaving it in the hands of someone who has their own agenda is the best course of action, go for it. I don't understand it and never will. My vote stays.

Usually nothing happens and you just lose a nonscum. Some vigs die if they shoot town iirc with a certain modifier? And sometimes they have more than one shot.
