the complete apathy in this game is tough

plus I think I spelled out pretty clearly in my earlier posts why I did what I did. I expect shots to come my way, which is now confirmed given that I was the only person pressing for a guy who JUST CLAIMED TO BE A SCUM SERIAL KILLER. I want to draw protection to myself to give me more nights to complete my win condition which is to find a specific someone to scan. The fact that I can get protection for myself so i have more time for my own wincon, lynch a scum to put us closer to the town wincon, and hopefully generate an actual game are all positive for my claim. The negative is only outing myself as cop, which is fine because I already expected to be targeted by trying early today to lynch someone who, once again to make sure everyone understands, JUST CLAIMED TO BE A SCUM SERIAL KILLER.

Like I already said there could be a variety of scum roles. I have no idea other than, y'know, you being zombie maker and selling me the fuck out. For all I know town lynches you today, me tomorrow and wins. This whole setup is odd.

But yinz, if you guys sincerely believe that a player I've never met before scanned me N1 and found scum then hammer. Ask yourself which is more likely? Cop got that 1/15 right and landed on a zombie or that the person who got mod info I am scum decided to bus me to better his personal odds of winning?

I mean, your entire argument hinges on the fact that we are supposed to trust someone who has CLAIMED THEY ARE SCUM. So excuse me if I don't give this post any credibility, since you are claimed scum.

Let's compare these two plays:

He does it on Day 2 as you suggest, with 13 players in the game and gets you lynched successfully. On Day 3 there are now: 12 players in the game, with 1 Zombie + himself, the zombie maker

He does it on Day 3, after a mislynch + you killed someone night 2 + he created another Zombie. On Day 3 there are now 11 players in the game, with 2 Zombies + himself, the zombie maker. After lynching you on Day 3, there would be 10 players left with 1 Zombie + himself, the zombie maker.

Does it really make sense to give up a free kill on Night 2 to establish credibility one day earlier? Hell he even had an argument with you today and it would make even more sense as to why he theoretically scanned you.

In the Tournement of Power a few years back I was Hider with 3 vig shots. It was also structured similar to this with no scum team but several indy scum. I shot another scum who happened to be bulletproof and when I was near getting lynched I made this exact bargain more or less. I didn't give town the full information then trying to use it as leverage as a leash.

The person I could have sold out to town then almost went on to win, as scum ABSORBER. They had a ridiculous number of powers in final three and town hammered them literally seconds before they could triple vote. If the two townies had been a minute after day start town would have lost to a single scum.

Don't make that mistake here. At the end of the day I'm low power, not much of a threat especially as a known entity. You guys need to handle the big threat first before it has a chance to bite you in the ass hard

Yeah before the game started I almost messaged him asking for clarification because what if the person I need to scanned gets killed or something. Then I saw there is still victory through town and I figured out that I wouldn't be shut out of the game if that happens, so eh.

Got me thinking "Why does the cop think that there would be anything in my flip that matters when I've full claimed?" so I went back to re-read it

Exactly, which is why the only person who blatantly asked if someone can help me win and exit the game is the guy who is confirmed scum. I don't expect anyone to tell me the truth about their flavor, and I won't believe anyone since this is INDEPENDENT. I can't really imagine a scenario in which someone will help me exit the game because as you said, the longer I stay the more scans I have.
