I didn't say there was not scum at all, I said no scum TEAM. It's Independent Survivor mafia, I would assume there's no teams (other than the whole non-scum apparently can win together). And how am I supposed to know anything about your role?

I am thinking on a tangent here, would scum ask for wincon claims?
The fact that a player has to survive a night after achieving their wincon means scum can just kill that player before it succeeds if they knew the condition has been reached already....

On the other hand maybe scum wants town to leave the game to give them less targets.

Personally i was okay with the no lynch BUUT we would have got more outta a lynch but everyone is going to be selfish this game and make it hard to actually find scum. But i am sticking with my hunch that Our friend Abacus is scum idk why i feel this way but its just a feeling with his few post but he was basically accidentally confirmed last game.

Idk how it is here but in Town of Salem indy scum have a variety of kill methods. Only Serial killer has a direct night kill. Arsonist douses people in gas and then can spend a night to burn everyone doused, Werewolf can only kill on even numbered nights, and Vampire can only recruit on even numbered nights. I've seen some creative scum extra kills here before, like the Bomb Layer last game and Poisoner who poisons someone and they die later.

There could be any number of reasons why there was only one kill last night and the fact that you're trying to gloss over that when the game is labeled Independent Survivor mafia makes me pretty fucking sure you're scum trying to push a "There's gotta be a scum team" narrative to hide the fact that you're scum who doesn't directly night kill.

I'd say scum roles would be similar to how they are normally, but with modifiers? Like a RB would be "After you RB X amount of people successfully, you win". Or "If you scan and find yasuho, you win"

Also, Sultan I can promise I am Independent Survivor with no scum modifier!

I'm siding with Bolt on this, actually. The opening post clarifies specifically that scum roles are formatted "INDEPENDENT SURVIVOR SCUM ____". Key word being independent. I don't know why there was only one kill last night, but if every role is labeled INDEPENDENT, I have to assume that even scum players are working independently from one another.

I think we can safely assume all scum have different primary win conditions, the question is whether they are given a board to converse on and just not told each others' identities or something similar, or whether they are on completely separate teams with no relation to each other. I'm not particularly sure whether it matters regardless until we start seeing them flip, since I think it is also fairly safe to assume scum will not interact with one another in the same way they normally do.

I don't know if this was addressed to me but that was basically my point - if there is a scum team, it is probably anonymous. I remember that happening on a scum team I was on before with an Usurper, I think.

I imagine that the same base mechanics of an informed minority vs. an uninformed majority is still in play. That's what keeps the game moving.

I think it's pretty simple tbh, if someone gets lynched other than you you don't die, and you dying makes it impossible to win. Also, it might make something happen, which has kind of been lacking in this game so far.

Surprisingly! Though I'm always more active during the work week. One of the few perks of working in IT in a VERY rural town is there isn't crap to do.

Anyway, I think IGCD wants to die so not gonna vote him! Kind of wanted to vote Han because I know his has something to do with votes against him, but also the less people in the game the easier it is for me (I think), so want him to win. Lea mentioned being disappointed in having to hunt scum with her condition. Sheep has to do with getting an action done on them (questioning).
