The game feels like it was just released. Kinda feels like it's blowing its load a bit early, but I guess the collab is multi-parted. No 2B yet

I'm almost positive the event gives you a 2B to start with no? I'm playing for the first time since the game came out(played and dropped it the 1st day, but came back solely for the Nier stuff lol) and pulled A2. I'm shocked since I've heard nothing but bad things about this games rates

Yeah it gives you 2B/Breaker. I believe the part 2 of the gacha will give boosted chance for 2B/some other class and 9S.

I'm obscenely lucky with this game atm. I pulled all 3 featured in this gacha in 3 full pulls. Hoarding 3000 crystals for part 2 >.>. But my physical wep line up kinda sucks so it's gonna be for pure novelty

Last night I blew through all my castle and dragon stories chasing Gleo and Summer Patia...and that was after like 100 pulls mind you,

Got up to 9% pity rate just to get Zephyr....did a couple yolo singles with the last few dragons stories and got Patia on the last one.

Gleo alas seems forever beyond my grasp.

Gleo isn't needed anymore thankfully. She's still the best even after all this time but there's plenty of serviceable Shadow units besides her.

I saw that name mentioned in the Crestoria /vg/ thread a couple of times, and I looked her up on the Tales wiki and it looks like her, so I think you're right. Also, the other girl (the one with the palm-tree-looking ponytail) is apparently Kanonno from Tales Of The World: Radiant Mythology 2.

Still no idea who the white-haired guy is though.

Blue haired guy is most likely the protag of Tales of Rebirth. I forget his name suddenly but he's the one who shouts KUREEAAA all the time.

And yeah the pink haired girl is Kannono E. I used her a ton in Tales of Link, and they were even weaved into the main story of that game. There are 3 Kannonos and she's probably my favorite, mostly cuz ToL had her on a wedding dress, and I got like absurdly lucky with multiple copies of her, which carried the hell out of my team

Elisa (AKA meguca Mordred) and Corbeau are being added, Darc (AKA meguca Jeanne d'Arc) and Liz will be getting a re-run (for those who weren't lucky/rich enough to pull them last time) and Melissa (the event freebie from Darc's event who I believe will also be obtainable in this one) will be receiving her 5* uncap and doppel. There have been other similar re-run/sequel events in the JP server that gave past freebies like Melissa their upgrades (even the Nanoha collab event got a re-run) so we'll just have to wait and see how many of those EN will get.

First gacha thats tempted me in a long while. But they still havent increased barracks space and were nearing the one year anniversary. Until then, Im not tempted to whale (though I could ticket her anyway, Id rather not if I can help it).

Rena's always been pretty big compared to the other girls in the game. The Live2D body models the game uses for the girls are identical for all of a girl's costumes, and they just don't look as big in her normal clothing or her magical girl outfit compared to a swimsuit showing them off.

They look even bigger in that video because the animators can properly show them being pushed up by the swimsuit, which the Live2D model can't.

Rena's personal kind of magic is transformation magic, which she normally uses to completely disguise herself as another person, right down to the body proportions. I don't think she's ever been shown using her transformation magic in a partial way to adjust her own body rather than simply as a complete disguise. Theoretically she might be able to, but there's no evidence in canon to show that she can or ever has.

That makes sense now. Anyways, duo units have been a thing in JP for a while, and EN literally just got their first one with the current event that ends today. The first duo unit (the one that EN just got) was the Amane Sisters swimsuit version:

Since then, there's been an Iroha/Yachiyo "final battle" duo unit that was the 2nd anniversary limited event in JP and a Rika/Ren Christmas duo unit along with the Rena/Kaede swimsuit duo unit you posted. Darc also later got an alternate "final form" that essentially turned Liz into her stand (and spawned plenty of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure references) but that's not technically a duo unit since only Darc's sprite appears on the battlefield. Still figured it was worth mentioning since it often gets lumped in with the other duo units.

For some reason Arknights had really good rewards in the daily mission yesterday, 2 Keton Colloids and 3 Orirock Concentration. But today it's just back to the normal slightly increased rewards (the usual stuff + a couple random chips).

I'm kind of bored with the game atm but the way that you can't really save up rolls from daily missions unless you complete a minimum of faffing around bugs me. With Granblue when I was bored I just logged in and that was it but in Arknights you're not getting any rolls to bring you closer to a new character if you do that (technically you do get 1 roll a month just from logging in...but that's nothing).

Arknights is for better or worse built to be a side-game I guess, but to that end they really should cut down on the faffing about, I guess you could maybe stockpile rocks to generate Orundrum but yeah. OP should at least convert to a larger amount of Oruns too.

GBF being generous is a Cygames thing in general which is a nice thing to expect from whatever you play from them at least, though the ridiculously diluted draw pool does bring its own set of shenanigans
That being said the grind is also another can of fish that I've been mostly avoiding atm, which also kinda kills any desire I might have had to do higher-end HL stuff like Faasan, at least until I get a second Majestas or something (Which at the rate I'm going would require another Weapon Annitix, seriously why is TiaMal such a hysterically tripe raid)

The problem with Arknights is that I only really want to play it if there's an event or new content or something. But to get rolls in order to get new characters, you have to pretty much do everything. I'd like to just login and that's it, not do 10 minutes of clicking and 20+ minutes of autobattle. Also interesting, I didn't notice the fact that there's 10k LMD extra. That's nice at least.

also yeah, the last banner in GBF had like 7 different rateups diluting everything (I knew a couple people who sparked for Summer Lucio without getting him), and that's only going to get worse as more stuff gets added. Honestly I hope they should just get rid of the whole "double rateup on gala banners" thing and make everything 6%, so the other 10 banners in a given month aren't completely pointless (outside of roulettes, I guess, those might need to be modified).

Is anyone else having problems with Crestoria? Its super laggy when I try to go to the guild, and it has been disconnecting :<

I've been having lots of problems since the patch today including not being able to go into the power-up quests.

I've been seeing some lag here and there, but it's been minor for me so far. The main issue I've been dealing with in Crestoria is that the power-up quests are bugged for me and always say "time is up" no matter what time of the day it is, which prevents me from selecting them from the menu. I have to use a workaround by going to my items list and clicking "found at" on whatever item I'm trying to farm, which takes me to the power-up quests that are actually open. It's annoying, but at least it's not preventing me from actually playing those missions.

I've seen other people having the "time is up" issue with those missions and also dealing with lag and other technical issues. Overall, it hasn't been a very good launch for Crestoria despite how enjoyable the game itself actually is.

Yeah this launch could have gone better. Most of the lag and crashes people are getting were there in the beta. I have no idea what they fixed during the months between beta and launch. Only change I've noticed is them making it harder to awaken.

I tried changing the time zone within the app itself (there's a setting for it) and that didn't work, and I also don't want to change my entire phone's time just to make this work normally. I'll just keep using the workaround until they fix it.

Same. I have the lowest settings possible and all of the sounds muted and it still drains my battery twice as fast as MagiReco or ReLIVE do.

Anyone else unable to check the results of a raid in Crestoria today? The app crashes when I do. *sigh* It seems like the game becomes less stable with each patch.

Just a heads up for you guys here who joined the guild I set up in Crestoria: If the guild just mysteriously disbands one day, it means I uninstalled the game and I'm probably not coming back. I'm definitely going to be more lenient and forgiving than I am with other gacha games because I love the Tales franchise a lot, but even that good faith can only carry it so far. Anyways, we also have some actually good news for Crestoria...

Some new features are coming soon, including a skip feature which will hopefully make grinding for resources a lot easier. Revue Starlight ReLIVE has this feature (you can auto-skip any battle you've gotten all three achievement stars for, excluding battles that don't have achievement stars like event bosses) and it's an absolute godsend. I think some other gacha games have this feature but limit you to a certain number of skips per day or require you to collect "skip tickets" to use them, but ReLIVE doesn't have that limitation and hopefully Crestoria won't either.
