Oh yeah I don't think they get on the news much. But I have played a few of their games some years, and they've all been incredibly low quality with very little support. I don't actually know what they're doing now, but I still see 1-2 games that I used to play still crawling on by, so I'm guessing that's what they're still doing until they land a few big games here and there

I've heard of Nutaku, but I've never played anything from them and I have no idea how they handle the games they localize.

"Hit or miss, but mostly miss" would be the best way to describe them. You either end up with okay-ish gameplay but boring/awful porn, or good porn but grindy/pay-to-win gameplay.

In all my years of dealing with them, I could count on one hand the number of games I actually enjoyed (and no, it's not because the other hand was busy).

Just treat them like a novelty and not an investment, and be mindful of your device's volume control at all times.

I remember when Nutaku first got started and they were planning to be the DMM of the west. They were going to bring over all the popular games from dmm. Then they closed down most of the dmm games and replaced them with low effort western games. Not sure how much of that is Nutaku themselves though. Global versions of gachas that remain popular in Japan close all the time. Theyre just a publisher and store. If all the western developers want to release is trash, all Nutaku can publish is trash.

It probably doesnt happen in the general version, if that helps at all. They probably just get defeated.

After using the word I chickened out and changed it. I wasnt comfortable with writing that and I dont want to get modded for using it or make anyone uncomfortable. It is what happens though as far as I can tell given the visuals.

Someone from Nutaku posted in the thread about the game on the gacha reddit that they dont promote that kind of thing in the games they publish (even though it was also in at least the launch version of some of the other gachas they published), so they might change it to somehow be consensual for the NA version. I wont be checking though.

No yuri at the point I quit at, but there was one futa and another had a fish or eel acting like a tentacle. Plus consensual stuff with the male main character in side stuff. Others have said in the reddit post about the English announcement that later there are scenes with mind-controlled men, but I can't verify that.

There are 3 sets of hscenes- story, character level, and SSR outfit maxing.
Story chapters starting at chapter 4 have a hscene at the end. These are done by the boss or things related to the boss. Similarly some, or maybe all the event stories end with a scene. I didn't complete the summer event that was running at the time, but judging by the preview image it's either with the player character or the beach guy that appeared to be creeping out the girls every time he showed up.
The girls each have a side story that unlocks as they level. At certain plateaus there are hscenes with the mc.
Maxing out a SSR outfit gets a hscene as well. No idea if these are with the mc, but the previews for the banners show them to be with men.

Some of the fetishes in MGCM are split by character.

Iroha and Kaori are basically the main girls, so they've pretty much gotten the most dresses with the most variety, I think.

Kokoa is the designated vanilla genki oppai loli, so most of her scenes are pure love. Aside from the one futa on futa scene with Akisa.

Seira seems to have gone in the opposite direction, being the cool beauty that's occasionally subjected to rape or humiliation instead.

Akisa has the smallest build out of all the girls and known as the girl who's best at "holding it", so she has a decent amount of oral.

Hanabi has the most femdom scenes, full stop.

Aka has the biggest tits, so obviously she gets paizuri.

Ao is the tomboy, so she's weak with sex matters, or so I've heard (haven't actually looked at her scenes much).

Eriza is the foreigner ojou, but I don't think I've noticed a running theme with her scenes.

Riri is the most gyaru out of all of the girls, but her scenes have been largely on the vanilla side as well, surprisingly.

Iko is the idol, so she gets scenes on both ends of the spectrum. The "idol only for you" type of scene, and the "idol is actually an exhibitionist slut" or something along those lines.

Nobody cares about Marianne. Seriously, she's the least popular girl.

Elaborating on this:

The story scenes are usually some form of demon rape (as in the generic enemy girls you fight).

The character bond scenes happen at... bond 6 and 20, I think? The first scene is some form of foreplay or oral, while the second is the deflowering scene. Yes, these are all vanilla with the MC.

The UR (there's no SSR, just N/R/SR/UR) outfit is where most of the fetishes in the previous post come into play. All of those unlock at level 30, which is practically nothing once you've gotten a decent stockpile of yarn (easy to get from any event).

There are more h-scenes nowadays from two modes: Box Events and Tower of Babel.

Box events give you a free UR and the end of the event has some scene usually related to the raid boss you fight. This means some of the Nymph enemies and other girls get h-scenes instead of the main twelve.

The tower is a 50 floor fight (each floor has three waves) against zombie magical girls, which is basically facing mirror versions of all the dresses. Given that the devs love to make some bullshit teams out of SSR dresses, it's extremely difficult to clear without specific dresses.

For example, Phoenix Aka + Wine Kaori is a popular enemy combination (and you always fight four girls per wave, so that's two Phoenixes and two Wines). Phoenix Aka burns anyone she attacks or gets attacked by, doing massive damage to them when she's on the attack. Wine Kaori not only negates debuffs, but turns them into speed boosts. And as you'd expect, Phoenix Aka gets a self-revive. End result, you have two self-reviving debuff-immune girls with a crippling debuff that can two/three-shot your characters if you don't have your own debuff immunity.

I personally couldn't finish a single tower until the Steins;Gate collab, because Mayuri and Kurisu are THAT good (and Mayuri being a limited UR means I lucked out hard). Mayuri has partywide debuff immunity and Kurisu has both a speed buff and the Oblivion skill, which lets her bypass Phoenix Aka's self-revive.

Anyway, I digress. At the top of the tower, there's a hot spring that lets the girls see a non-vanilla h-scene of themselves. Really. There's a bit more to it, but I'm trying not to spoil the main plot, and clearing the tower in the first place assumes you have some grasp of that already.

I actually calculated the amount of Sanity you'd need to spend to grind up one roll recently, iirc it was ~980 if you're farming 1-7 (the extremely tedious method) or ~1200 Sanity if you're farming s2-12 (still very tedious but slightly less so).

I've actually been doing it a bit myself because I've run out of other things to farm, but it's so much effort for so little return that I'll probably just take a psuedo-break from the game once they've gotten rid of the increased daily mission rewards and only do Annihilation or something.

I should be hype for Nian, but the more I think about her banner the dumber it is (a character being available on only limited banners is one thing, but creating a garbage 6* character that literally nobody wants on the same banner, just to make her harder to get is like...c'mon).

Jk, but I have too much misgivings about Nutaku to give it a shot. Also been busy with SinoAlice still (and also still playing Vanguard Zero and PAD, so no time for anything new), though I'd say it's sorta been picking up a tad bit. I find it a hard game to ever recommend because of many reasons but if you can find a good guild, it's kinda fun. The guild v guild fights in the game actually have a lot more depth than it seems on the surface, but it has a pretty huge barrier to entry.

To expand on this, hes more like the main character in a normal video game as opposed to the faceless protagonist that exists only to bang the women you get in most lewd games. I'd grind Red certs to buy out all the Breeze dupes first so you can get Yellow certs from them if you haven't already, that's a very slightly less painful way to accumulate rolls

Somehow that's even worse ...well whatever, I've already lost interest. For comparison's sake, this isn't an issue with Ninja Maidens or Project QT.

With NM, it's pretty much full-yuri and/or solo scenes. The only time male characters are even hinted to exist is during some conversations and shadowy back/foreground figures in some exhibitionist scenes, but at no point do any actually participate, they're NPCs all the way. They're so committed to "no dicks allowed" even that they *didn't* make the tanuki gal into the token futa.

For PQT, there's a "you" that's meant to be male, but the majority of your involvement is poorly translated and stupid dialogue. There *are* scenes involving you "in the flesh", but they're ironically the hardest scenes to unlock due to the grind (or money) required to get them, otherwise the bulk of content is solo animations, some yuri with duo heroes, and "at worst" you have disembodied ghost dicks during all of the monster girl scenes.

Weedy is actually cute and useful, yeah. To be fair, neither of the Limited units are super must-haves in terms of power, but I think they definitely put more effort into their designs/voices to try and make them appealing compared to the average character (and definitely compared to Aak)

My ruthless conquest to raze the Sinoalice of all of its contents as an F2P continues somehow. I have pulled 9S and 2B and the other featured weapon in 2 full pulls. I've pulled 6 full pullls and got 7 SRs, including every single collab classes. I calculated the expected returns and was only supposed to get like 2.5ish SRs lmfao.

I don't really know what's going on, but it's making it really hard to quit. Also been in an interesting guild of boys and girls who are excessively passionate about this game...
