We have this front door security monitor at work, as i was walking past it, on the corner of my eye, i saw what looked like a person walk on it, i turn around to look out the door itself, and no one was there.

Could have been easily been a bird flying past it, i didnt get a good look at it, just looked like something dark passed the camera

On the subject of spooky shit, I can recount a similar peripheral vision story. When I was maybe in my teens, one day I was home alone and walked by my brother's room. His door was open and I saw somebody in a chair by his desk. When I got to the kitchen, I remembered my brother had either gone on a trip with friends or was staying over a friend's place, so I figured I'd go back and ask him what happened.... but when I went back to talk to him, the room was empty. I was a little creeped out so I went back to the kitchen and, a few minutes later, I heard a noise from my brother's room so I ran back there but, once again, the room was empty and I couldn't see anything that might have made a noise. After that, I checked the rest of the house. All the doors and windows were locked, nobody else seemed to be around

Which, all things considered, is pretty tame. My uncle's friend had a ton of spooky shit happen at her place. There was an old rocking chair in the attic that always seemed to be in a different place in the attic. There was this time she was having a gettogether at her house and the doorbell rings so one of the guests goes to answer it and nobody is there; he mentions this to her and she tells him that the doorbell was removed years ago and shows him where the mechanism used to be. Then there's a lot of the usual crazy-woman shit that I would normally discount if not for the other stuff.

When I was staying over my aunt's house as a kid, I saw something like ball lightning drift around the room.

After it disappeared, I fled out of the room and experienced some sort of auditory hallucination. It sounded like footstep moving on the creaky stairs. lol.

At my friend's parents' house, there's a ghost of a dead infant in the basement and apparently you can hear it crying at night sometimes.

I experienced a similar situation with a security camera. Turned out it was just a moth that would fly by the front of the camera every now and then.
