For more than 60 years, McDonald's has been the trailblazer that set the standard by which all other franchises operate. But there are clear signs those roles may be reversing; a revitalized Burger King is forcing McDonald's to adjust to it, not the other way around. McDonald's and Burger King started in the franchise food business in 1955 and 1953, respectively. Though he initially appears conceited and deluded as far as Zelda's attraction to him goes, over the course of the game, his personality changes for the better. He is quite proud of his distinctive red pompadour, a hairstyle which is shared by his Loftwing. -Zeldapedia Groose also probably fails to break 5% on Link. Advokaiser MATCH 2: Ephraim Winslow vs. Thomas Wake (The Lighthouse) "Two men must staff a lighthouse on an isolated island for one month without any company besides each other and the occasional seagull. They are driftless laborer Ephraim Winslow and the older, mysterious Thomas Wake. Their mannerisms quite inherently contrast, which builds into latent tension when the authoritative Wake assigns Winslow alone most of the heavy labor and forbids Winslow from accessing the light itself. Its no spoiler to say that circumstances devolve from there." *-MetalmindStats* Left Pong Paddle vs. Right Pong Paddle (Pong) Practically giving birth to gaming as we know it, Pong was a revolutionary game which multiple consoles featured upon release. Player 1 controls the Left Paddle, while Player 2 controls Right Paddle. This rivalry has literally almost half a century of existence. Both opponents are equally strong, and have the same stats: speed, strength, angle, length, width, and hitbox, with speed and luck being the only player-dependent stats. There's actually a handful of pairings with some overlap I didn't initially intend (at least for Round 1), like Nintendo/Sega & Red/Blue, Ulti/Blizzard & yoblazer/SMT, Spidey/Venom & Marvel/DC, and probably a few more.
