What are the best teams I can make from this lineup?

I've just been running Eula, Zhongli, Fischle and Xingqiu for all the events/day to day

IMO Eula Zhongli Fischl Xingqiu is already very good as long as you control elements to superconduct regularly. You might be vulnerable to cryo shields though, depending on how good Zhong is at breaking them?

Sucrose may help you a ton in the future by gathering enemies with her burst and a lot of buffs/debuffs.
Klee may be great for you coz she is strong against everything except pyro. Xingqiu goes well with Klee.
Diona may take Zhongli's role on your second group coz her shields and buffs are very spammable and she has heals + cryo application on top of it.
I hear Beidou can be great but have no experience.

I'm holding onto my free stockpile just in case they update the standard pool with a few Inazuma characters/ weapons. Even if it's months from now, better than getting worthless dupes on top of worthless dupes.

Anyone know how to manually update the game on PS5? Other updates start automatically, when I click "check for update" it says one is available but it never starts downloading. Loading the game just says to update it first.

The VV domain is the easiest one to farm especially if you already have Venti. You can literally suck up the whole domain at once.

I mean this non-jokingly - C6 Noelle with good gear is one of the most legitimately broken and overpowered characters in the entire game. I have no idea how she has managed to fly under the radar this long. I say this as someone with a C3 Eula ffs. Noelle EASILY holds her own with Eula as a main DPS (in fact, I'd argue that on the whole she's actually better).

I've been actively avoiding banners with Noelle and I still have her at C4. It's starting to look like she's even more inevitable than Thanos.

Honestly, C6 Noelle has at least moved up the Main DPS ratings in most tier lists, but those tier lists often miss the bigger picture with her. As long as she has a decent battery with her, she's basically Zhongli that can heal and has more consistent DPS.

The weird thing about Noelle, though, is that her mathematics scale dramatically as you hyper-invest in her. Her ATK scales by 1.5x her DEF, which creates a situation in which stacking more and more DEF results in exponentially higher ATK (and vastly stronger shields and heals, too). So she has this weird DPS scaling chart which basically goes nowhere and then suddenly shoots up exponentially.

You've probably noticed a lot of people suddenly talking about Whiteblind and how they want Claymore Billets, and it's because WB's DEF scaling becomes dramatic once Noelle is hyper-invested.

Whiteblind is also a defense mainstat weapon that provides both attack and defense buffs at R5 you can add another 48% to both stats before taking a snapshot of them and then adding another 150% of defense to attack.

I still think crit is better though since crit scales multiplicatively with her attack instead of additive like defense. Basically you want crit Dmg hat, geo Dmg goblet, defense% sands, and then defense% / CR / CD substats on everything with a preference to atk% if you can find a piece that somehow has all 4 of those.

Well, I finally managed to get a Whiteblind to her, so I might be a little less evasive the next time she's featured. I'm still resolved to forego pulling for any non-archer five-star character at this point, since the only five-star weapon in my arsenal is the Amos' Bow and it's pretty depressing that I can't pull the kind of damage numbers I see on videos because most of my characters are relegated to four-star mediocrity: Hu Tao has a Blackcliff pole, Keqing is using the proto rancour, Mona has the Favonius Codex and Qiqi is undecided, though I slapped the Blackcliff sword on her for the time being.

The tough part here is going to be holding on to primos for the duration of this version and hoping Yoimiya is worth the pulls.

I really need more CD on my Noelle. She's very much hamstrung by only having 80% CD (50% CR). My damage ceiling seems to be about 20k with a good crit, but I've heard it can go way beyond that with better CR/CD.

It's funny - I built her mostly as a meta-joke because I assumed her being a legit main carry in the end-game was just an inside joke (like Barbara DPS), but as it turns out she is arguably the single best and most reliable main DPS in the game with enough investment.

The only other character I know of that has similarly weird scaling is Geo Traveler, who actually has remarkably good DPS and Geo synergy with Zhongli if you really work on his gear.

1.7 is July tho. Every patch is roughly 4 weeks and it's highly likely she's the first banner.

Patches are usually 6 weeks, unless I'm miscounting. It will be better if she's the first banner. Fingers crossed. :)

Updates are every 6 weeks, so that means either 6 or 9 weeks until Yoimiya.
Mihoyo has a habit of placing a rerun or unknown nobody (Yoimiya) first together with great 4*s or new chars (Sayu), then placing the hyped char everyone knew (Ayaka) second.

Yeah I hope they "adjust" electro again before Baal comes out because unless her kit is completely busted we're going to have another Zhongli situation again. Fischl and Beidou pretty do everything you need for a electro support and we literally have only one pure Electro DPS in the entire game so far. We keep getting nonstop pyro dps characters and other elements actually have utility or have even more broken characters, Ganyu and Eula. I'm just disappointed I guess and I want to like Baal but electro is still trash.

The kit is probably gonna be busted. Assuming she's going to go into a support role I can see them wanting to play off their EM buffs. Something like "when another character causes an electro reaction, add Raiden's EM to the characters's EM to determine the damage."

So basically electro Sucrose but without VV, idk sounds worse then a 4* character to me. I'm sorry for coming off as aggressive but these electro buffs are pretty bad. That's why we haven't seen any new electro characters because they know they can't sell them as they are now.

She was my first main carry on both of my accounts. I mess around with an electro build on my infrequently-used alt account, but she's pure physical on my main. Maybe someday electro will be good and I can get some use out of this R2 Lion's Roar! lol

Anyone else notice that Overloaded seems to do a lot more damage than Vaporize now?

EDIT: Looks like that one refinement gave me a 200 ATK boost

I can confidently say that it doesn't, high EM overload does do significantly more damage then it did before but it still can't compete with a modifier that allows you build pure dps and splash EM on the side. You need around 1000EM to see crazy overload/electro charged numbers but you sacrifice atk% and crit stats for it.

Weird, because I'm seeing some really nutty Overloads for seemingly no reason, particularly with Fischl, Venti and Yanfei.

Also, I've ascended C3 Yanfei to 70 and I can say without a doubt that I prefer her over my C0 Klee. With no exceptions.

I really have to advise against this. Those are the two worst 5*s in their respective categories and both are on the permanent banner. This is like pulling for Qiqi.

I like it for it's crit substats but I understand why people don't favor it much, it's passive kinda conflicts with the whole reaction based game play and it takes awhile to ramp up
