I like it for it's crit substats but I understand why people don't favor it much, it's passive kinda conflicts with the whole reaction based game play and it takes awhile to ramp up

The passive is terrible for characters like Klee, Mona and Sucrose, but amazing for Ningguang and Yanfei.

So. My next plan is
Tartaglia, Fischl, Traveler (Electro), Sayu.

Trav makes Tartaglia's bursts more spammable and adds another electro spam source with burst. (not sure if build into electro damage, elemental mastery, or recharge)
Fischl adds electro spam.
Tartaglia constantly keeps hydro on all enemies for electrocharge spam.
Sayu shreds and swirls hydro/electro and spams heals. Her burst is expensive, but Traveler will recharge it. (I could spec her into full elemental mastery, but maybe it's much more effective to go full crit spec with anemo dmg)

I think for Eula specifically a CR mainstat is better. You only get one shot at the burst so critting there is pivotal.

shes at 75% crit with the helmet, with diona support she gets the 15% crit boost in cryod enemies. Her crit damage is only 135%.

so if I got a crit damage helmet with crit c sub, shed still be over 65%.

I really have to advise against this. Those are the two worst 5*s in their respective categories and both are on the permanent banner. This is like pulling for Qiqi.

If you have nothing but Traveler and 4* Qiqi is still going to be useful. Even those two are better than anything I've got, and who knows? I might get a great random weapon.

to be fair main stat crit rate / damage makes a pretty big difference and you need exactly the right one or you'd fail to reach the right balance

They should have reworked him then, pretty crazy how two extremely good characters get buffed while they won't fully address electro issues as we head into the electro region. Sigh, guess we'll see what they do before they seriously start releasing Inazuma. And honestly I don't know how they expect Kazuha to even compete with Sucrose and Venti now that I think about it. He's pretty dependent on Constellations for buffing and damage.

Unless you're hitting on average 10-15% crit rate on all artifacts or running spine, that circlet is pretty much the best you can get on her.

Well, it isn't a "won't" yet, afaik 1.7 is ayaka (cryo), Sayu (anemo support!), yoimiya (pyro).
They did this for Kazuha, they avoided any and all new electro chars, so you can bet on them doing an electro rebalance if 1.8 has the electro chars in it. Hell even 1.7 might.

Kazuha is probably someone you play for fun and selfish gravity pulling rather than tier lists. People also act like Tartaglia wouldn't be good, but Tartaglia is incredible at what he does

Venti is the first banner the game ever had and the recent banner was the rerun.
The problem here is, if Mihoyo only does 1 rerun, 1 new char banners, they will never catch up, so for Venti to get a rerun Mihoyo would likely need to redesign the system or add a separate "history" version 1.0 - 1.6 banner for reruns only.
Also, the next update is likely 2 new 5* characters (Yoimiya+Sayu and Ayaka) so that may delay things further.

Yes and no. They can take the same role but also have their own strengths and weaknesses, making them almost equally useful.

Venti is more a subdps and gravity puller. He'll deal far more damage and crowd control is much better.

Sucrose is more a buffer and debuffer. She can deal good damage and crowd control, she also greatly increases the damage your main dps will do if she swirls or uses a skill or burst on the correct element.

Another significant difference is Venti lifts enemies too high. So characters like Ganyu have good synergy with him, but for example Yanfei and Tartaglia can't reach the enemies and want Sucrose instead.

Venti is insanely broken even at C0 with bad gear.
Sucrose is good regardless of constellation and is very easy and cheap to build for starters. It's recommended you have C1 for the second skill use, C2 for longer gravity pull and C6 for a 20% elemental damage buff.

He's still going to have appeal regardless to people who don't have either Venti or Xiao as there's no good sources of Anemo DPS really.

He doesn't have a Venti tier pull. His pull is essentially the same as sucrose but with more damage. Venti actually lifts enemies into the air and holds them there like the Anemo Traveler's tornado except it's stationary.

As the old adage goes: "anyone can DPS, but only Venti can Venti"

Venti is, fundamentally, the most broken character in GI by virtue of having a role that literally no other character can fill.

Zhongli is the best shielder, but there are other ones that easily fill the role
There's lots of explosive DPS characters
Only Venti can CC with "press Q to win game"

i read the tutorial and didnt understand it so dont worry

the missing key is the ball. you need to do the main quest first until you find the robot samurai and then one of the girls will give you a ball. once you have that, equip it and stand in the square and use it. the rest will come to you naturally

Well, if you do nothing with your resin but farm leylines for a week, you can make 3.78 million mora. You can also make another 150k doing the top tier bounties and requests, which puts you at nearly 4 million.

Doesn't that sound exciting? lol

The gate keeping of upgrade materials really prohibits any spending on my part. Like Id go for Klee. But Ill blow all my materials and mora.

I complain about this every survey. Every single survey I write in some variant of "didn't pull on this banner because I can't use anything I get from it even if I wanted to" and I'll be doing it again on the Kazuha banner because I already have Klee.

My pulling strategy is predominantly for more constellations of 5* characters at this point since I've already invested in most of them.

Mihoyo: just buy the battle pass every month. That will get you a big boost in mats and mora!

I mean I do buy it every month and it doesn't even give you enough talent books to reach level 7 and it gives zero weapon materials.

Honestly, they should make C6 automatically set all talents to Lv. 8 (if not already there) and level up the character to 80.

That would incentivize people to keep rolling on expensive characters and to start using 4-star characters that got to C6 over time.

Alternatively, every constellation obtained after C6 gives +1 to all talents and +10 levels

I'm curious what they'll do for talents level 14 and 15 once they raise the level cap to 100. I imagine they won't tie the final levels/talents to the normal materials required.

You can't level past 10, when you get the constellation it automatically bumps up by 3 it doesn't change the cost

I honestly find weapon mats and talent books to be some of the easier things to grind. Especially compared to having to kill bosses like 30 times per character and the damn endless hunt for perfect artifacts.

The weapon domains are easy and have pretty good drop rates, but it's still something I have to go out of my way to spend resin on when I need the resin for other things too like artifacts and Talent books, both of which have really bad drop rates.

There's plans for additional boosts obviously. For example it's possible to get level 11 in basic attacks by having Tartaglia on your team, normally impossible otherwise.

There are ways to get higher than max level. Tartaglias passive raises the partys main attack talents by 1.

Im guessing its saying that 15 is the absolute limit regardless of buffs.

Right. I'd assumed that they'd let you level it from 13 to 15 based on the hard cap. It's highly unlikely that I'll ever have a character that I'd want to level up that high in the first place, but it's good to know. ty

Honeyworld has all the numbers for lv.15 talents so we know they're actually in the data files just no way to get them that high atm. My only problem is weapon level materials. I feel those hard gate me the most. I really only level up 4 characters at a time then friendship level 10 them and then move on to the next batch so I don't notice the character level up issue.
