I might skip this banner on EU despite not having Klee. That server is saturated with pyro characters already.

Maybe on NA in hopes of a C2 pull but probably will save up for banner after.

Klee can really shine as a DPS but her normal attacks require you to animation cancel after 2 hits for her to really shine. I'm not a fan of that. Also her elemental skill mines refuse to be sucked up by Venti's burst which kind of sucks.

As a sub DPS, she kind of fights for attention away from your main DPS character although her elemental skill is pretty spamable. Her ult requires her to be on the field to utilize it making it somewhat difficult to fit into a sub DPS role.

It's not a coincidence. miHoYo knows Ningguang is a premium 4 star unit. They're probably waiting to put her on a banner where the 5 star unit wont sell on its own.

Klee's burst sadly cancels after switch (otherwise she'd be the best pyro application in the game). Her dps style demands staying on the field and eats stamina.
Her skill can be good pyro application or subdps depending on main char, Keqing can kick enemies into the minefield for overload.

Overall in my opinion Klee demands field uptime as dps but does have slight element application uses and can be switched into for her incredible shield,armor breaking ability / pyro reactions / geo break / energy recovery / high short-term dps.

In general my recommendation is making sure you have 8 good characters (2 teams) ready. Then think about what chars you want.
Hu Tao, Klee, Diluc, Yanfei (C1!), [Yomiya] (pyro Ganyu, near future)
Out of these 5 I highly recommend that you have at least 1 character, at most 2. Pick based on playstyles and char personality you like. But be aware Yomiya will possibly powercreep harder than Ganyu and Yanfei C6 still is inferior to the others, even if very strong

I already wrote my opinion in detail during the last topic, but IMO
(Yomiya >) Hu Tao > Klee > Diluc > Yanfei C6.

Yanfei can only keep up with a Klee that doesn't get sparks and doesn't use her skill+burst.
But with all her tools together, sparks and canceling, and all the utility / gameplay mechanics advantages Klee has over her, there's a pretty huge gap between em.

Frankly, and I mean this without any sarcasm or meanness, Klee is a huge fucking pain in the ass to play as a main DPS. She's too slow, nearly all of her moves need canceling, she has the HP of a tadpole, her range is awful for a catalyst user, and her elemental reactions are very difficult to set up.

People can talk about how great her theoretical DPS numbers are, but the bottom line is that to get those kinds of numbers you basically have to play her like a hotkey RTS.

Yeah Klee does require a lot of canceling and you need to be good at split second decisions, but she does still have a huge advantage, as long as you are willing to put up with her playstyle.

Personally, I much prefer Klee's active playstyle over Dilucs plain button mashing. But most of it can be summarized with
1. starting everything you do with a normal attack cancel and not letting them combo
2. jumping/dashing out of charged attacks
3. using skill and burst as cancel

If I hadn't Turbo Whaled for Venti and Zhongli (I missed out on both of them the first time around and wasn't going to let that happen again) I would honestly consider going for C4 Klee, because she is one of the strongest Sub DPS units in the game at C4

Oh right, Klee banner. I imagine 1.7 will be Albedo+Sayu and Yoimiya?
Really tough choice, I want to C6 Fischl and Barbara, C2 Klee.
But that would likely reduce my resources to the point where I may lose Sayu...

On the other hand Yoimiya and Sayu likely won't join my team, but I really want a full loli collection

If Rosaria is in the Kazuha banner I might be tempted to pull for some constellations, but I'm so close to guaranteed pity I will definitely get him. Still don't really care for his design, but meta wise he could be helpful since I don't have Venti.

I'm just not sure if I want to risk a 50/50 on getting one more constellation on my C1 Albedo... assuming he gets the rerun sooner than later. There's nothing else I want in the near future otherwise.

We already know buffs in all 3 phases will require swirl to activate, so you can bet your ass they'll design the floors to promote anemo strongly.
Expect bullshit like the F11-2 pillar defense, except a lot more of it.

I literally just got Jean yesterday, and I'm feeling pretty good about that.

Although let's be honest, if anything in the game favors Anemo, Venti would cheese it harder than a box of Kraft.

Venti literally took me from barely passing the last Abyss's 11-2 (in March-ish IIRC) to getting 3 stars without even thinking.

The current Abyss's 11-1 Pillar Defense is so easy it's almost a joke. Venti + Diluc on one side, then Eula on the other. 100% no damage pillar.

Now if only I could find a way to clear those 12-3A Lectors fast enough to get my last star. Venti + Fischl + Tartaglia isn't enough. Fischl + Diluc + Bennett isn't enough.

Looks like Ill be pulling for Yoimiya unless lightning strikes twice and I pull a five-star weapon on the standard banner this week. Its a bit depressing to see videos with guys doing OVER 9000 damage with five-star characters while Im doing shit damage in comparison because of crappy four-stars for the most part.

I wonder when they will bother adding any Inazuma 5 stars to the standard banner. Surely they will update the default pool at some point eventually... right? Like years from now when 7 countries are available will it still be the same Monstadt and Liyue units?

She definitely looks the part of a support.

That said, I suspect the vast majority of Archons will be supports, because DPS is a flavor-of-the-week thing and MHY can't have Archons be replaced so easily.

I don't think they've added any 5-star characters to the Standard Banner since launch. They add the new 4-Star characters after their introduction banners, though.

My theory is, we will get a "history banner" that can only roll 5*s that are limited characters and weapons from 1.0 - 1.5 with acquaint fates.
Or a constantly rotating new separate banner that goes through all reruns and has 50% chance limited char, 50% chance its limited weapon.

Permanent banner probably won't change until months after Inazuma, unless you think they'll release 5 5* characters at once. I'll definitely be pissed if they do anything that further reduces my chance to get Qiqi.

In all fairness, I've had little impetus to pull on banners that include her as one of the featured four-stars. I don't really want Venti, I really don't want Klee and I only needed like 8 pulls to get Ganyu because I was close to pity and was guaranteed pulling her.

It didn't help matters that I fucked up big time early on and used both of my Claymore prototypes without creating a Whiteblind. I didn't get another one to drop until literally two weeks ago.

I got stupidly lucky on my completely F2P PS4/PS5 account and pulled Jean on my very first Standard Banner pull (and Venti on my very first Character Banner pull!)

By that time, I already had an AR50+ PC/Mobile account with a lot of 5-stars but Jean eluded me on that account until literally yesterday.

I remember thinking Jean (and Venti, obviously) felt completely broken in the early game. Jean is by a HUGE margin the best healer in the early game because she also easily fits into a Main DPS role until the end-game, and being able to burst heal everyone off the field while also doing a crapload of damage is something shared only with Noelle (who needs C6 and endgame gear to do it effectively). Jean basically does it like it's nothing.

My impression is that Jean at the endgame is a really good character who isn't amazing at any one particular task, but the specific combination of things she does (burst healing, AOE nuking, crowd control) makes her a very easy fit into almost any team comp. She almost reminds me of Venti and Zhongli in the way she synergizes with everyone.

DPS calc says the phys goblet will give me better dps, but it's also dropping my crit chance down to 57% which is kinda low imo, not sure if I wanna swap to it.

Hmm, Baal looking pretty good, but Electro support is pretty eh as of right now. Fischl is good because her kit is busted, Beidou is the same. Keqing is very strong but held back by Electro. So basically Baal would have to have a broken kit to be great.

This Klee banner is the most skippable banner I've ever seen (for me, at least)

I already have Klee, and I prefer not to use her anymore
And I have Fischl, Sucrose and Barbara at C6

My next 5-star pull from the Character Banner is a guaranteed, since I (literally) got Qiqi'd yesterday. I don't really want Kazuha either, since I have Venti and Jean. I guess Pyro Ganyu is my next goal.

As for Eula, I finally got her ascended to level 70/80. Now to farm the mats again to get her to 90. Then level up her weapons to max and her talents to level 7 at least.

Finally got some decent artifacts for Eula, and learned how she play. And yeah, holy shit she just literally erases people. Add in Xings ult and its not even fair.
