Passion keeps making me recall Prinny - Dance With Me, which is super weird because I have no reason to remember that song...it lost in round 1 last year where I comfortably voted against it, and don't remember seeking it out again yet I still hear it in my head! I was even sure it was from year 13 before I checked! Maybe this will be my next obsession from hearing all these accordion songs - VGMC 13 made me appreciate rhythm music, 14 was Fire Emblem, and 15 will be tango???

Very difficult match sandwiched between a pretty easy one and an obvious one. I could flip to Ace Combat at any moment but today I'm really feeling the kind of music that Colress is, so my vote is clear.

First match is an unexpected vote for a few reasons. The Mad Rat Dead songs this year haven't really been my thing, but Passion in Blue really clicked for me in a way it hadn't before (went from a 6 to an 8.5, and I could see it going up with future listens). On the other hand, Danger was a song I nominated/supported, but I wasn't feeling it as much today. I still love its manic energy, but I'm a little less sold on it right now than I was during nominations. Passion in Blue was a really pleasant surprise (I say this despite listening to it before) - really love the bossa nova (I think it's bossa nova) vibes. These two songs are so different!
