She is freaking powerful thats for sure. Lots of energy. Wont allow you to set her down more than 5 minutes without a meltdown. Shell do great

if its retail WoW you saved him from a shitty raid and shitty content patch, good on ya

if its TBC classic, most classes can be played with one hand and your baby is probably better than most dps so no biggie.

Of course its retail which is why I dont feel bad. He keeps whining about how much he hates it too and only shows up not to disappoint our guild. Well too bad for them, its baby time!

We both have copies and subs. He was playing this morning. We were in the middle of leveling to max to catch up to current content when things got too busy to play. He only just went back to WoW after the new patch

To be fair she usually goes to bed around that time and I agreed to take care of her while he joined the raid. I had set her down to sleep but shes experiencing a growth spurt today and is being more difficult. She woke up 20 minutes in to scream for more food which shes done most of the day. And I took care of her all day while he took calls to interview for a new job. He did the same for me when I interviewed. But I reached my limit.

Hes over it now. He fed her and put her back to sleep.

Weve been wanting to try it out again. Only really tried it when it first launched. He was trying it again the other day but not enough time to really play it.

Better for the baby to learn now that you dont mess with a man trying to top the charts during raid night.

Honestly it sucks when you have to remind people to do things they should be doing but that's another reason kids aren't for me personally.

"oh I didn't hear the baby :/" ok I'm booking you a hearing screening and moving the crib in your office. "I forgot to change diapers because I was uh rearranging my books by the Dewey decimal system. We generally split things fairly well and I agreed to be on baby duty while he played. Tomorrow I have a girls night and were getting dinner and drinks while hes on baby duty. Today was just particularly exhausting with the growth spurt and also being with her all day and last night was my night shift too. Ive been up since 3:30 am.

Its cool, hes taking night shift tonight and Ill have some time tomorrow. But no I dont feel bad that I reached my limit and asked for him to step in.

Im glad its been getting easier for you. It gives me hope lol. She sleeps through most of the night but during the day wants to be held and played with all day and refuses to take more than a few 20-30 min naps.

Nope. Awake since 3:30 am, taking care of her the entire day. Reached my physical and mental limit. She woke up from her sleep screaming and I just handed her over to him and went away. It was great.

Ehh shes still too little to know how to do that yet. If shes crying its for a reason. She normally doesnt just cry to cry. Today she was a hungry baby all day. Just eating and screaming for more. Exhausting.

Last week he took a 2 hour nap for the first time and yesterday he slept for 10 straight hours. It was glorious. You can do it!

Nice! Shes at 8 hours straight. Wakes up once. Then has another 3 hour stretch. Then up most of the day but she hates to be set down anywhere. Hates her rocker, her bouncer, tolerates her play mat at most 20 min. Wants you to hold her and bounce her, take her out for a stroll, generally just be on the move. Cant just hold her and chill or she will scream at that too. Getting so tired.

Or they arent parents. Had a friend say the same thing a couple of weeks ago. She doesnt have children. Its just something people hear from others. It really doesnt apply to infants. Its more to do with sleep training.

Oh wow congrats! So excited for you! Its hard for sure. Some days are better than others. I just keep telling myself this is rough but once she learns to interact with her surroundings then things will be better. I hope

Thats terrible. Raids are not easy to form and are scheduled with the guild. With the new content being out you need to get in them ASAP.
