There is some room to resent trends in popular music, if one doesn't like them. Mostly, it just makes it harder to find interesting new music without putting in work to find the handful of artists that are producing stuff you like. That said, it's pretty much a given that pop music can't please everyone and there will inevitably be some point where a given person's tastes will require them to do some digging, so that's not exactly a unique enough problem to be worth crying over.

You could, but I wouldn't. That's already a pretty busy combination of flavours and textures, such that adding more in there could be a bit overwhelming. I'm sure you could make it work, and it might even be pretty good, but I'm inclined not to try. If nothing else, the Oreos wouldn't really add anything that isn't already being done better by other components (Chocolate flavour? Real chocolate. Cream? Mousse. Crunch? Pralines. Sweetness? Everything, but particularly the sauce).

Nah dude, it's totally unavoidable. This one time, I went to McDonald's, and instead of getting the sweet and sour sauce I expected with my nuggets, I got this chili sauce because BTS had taken over my nuggets. There was truly no way I could have avoided this blatant attack on my K-pop-free lifestyle, and words cannot express the suffering I have felt over it.

My poor, defiled nuggets aside (the chili sauce was actually pretty good, I can't really complain), I can't say that I've ever even had to go out of my way to avoid K-pop fans, let alone have actual difficulty succeeding. Methinks you're just getting too uppity about the fact that people exist that enjoy something you don't.

Ah, so the actual issue is that your group of friends likes it and talks about it among themselves, but you don't. I can see how that would be bothersome. It's important to remember, though, that the issue isn't that they're a cult that's trying to convince you to join, it's that they don't think that your musical tastes are a good enough reason to stop having fun with their friends. They don't actually care about getting you into it, they just feel bad that you're so bored.

The new limited flavor is a salted caramel brownie so maybe that one.

Eh, it'd still just be a worse version of the sauce. Limited Oreo flavours tend to be pretty underwhelming, in my experience.

Usually (a term which I use pretty loosely, given that I can count on one hand the number of times I've eaten at McD's in the last decade) I go for honey, but I felt like their S&S sauce that day.
