56 y/o Leilani Lutali from Colorado sobbed uncontrollably when she learned her life saving kidney transplant was cancelled because she and her friend who is giving her her kidney are UNVACCINATED!!

She has stage 5 renal failure and was denied a new kidney because of their vaccination status

The University of Colorado Health Hospital sent a letter to her and her friend, 45 y/o Jaimee Fougner informing them that they could not get their transplant done because they were not vaccinated against COVID-19

She said "I feel coerced. I just feel like my life is being held in their hands in exchange for a shot, and the attitude is just take the shot"

Fougner says "Here i am, willing to be a direct donor to her. It does not affect any other patient on the transplant list. How can i sit here and allow them to murder my friend when i've got a perfectly good kidney and can save a life"

According to UCHealth, the majority of transplant recipients and living donors are now required to be vaccinated to avoid organ rejection...

The duo met late LAST YEAR during bible study and just a few months later, Fougner made the choice to give her kidney to her ailing friend

They both said they haven't got the vaccine for religions reasons and too many unknowns and do not trust Biden to give them an unproven vaccine that will cause DEVASTATING effects later in life...

They said they didn't know about this policy until it was too late as at the end of August they confirmed that there was no shot needed and fast forward to Sept 28 is when they found out it changed

They are now placed on a waiting list for non-compliant by not receiving a vaccine and have given them 30 days to begin the vaccination process before moving on

She said "I said i'll sign a medical waiver. I have to sign a waiver anyway for the transplant itself, releasing them from anything that could possibly go wrong. It's surgery, it's invasive, i sign a waiver for my life. I'm not sure why i can't sign a waiver for the covid shot. I want God to decide what he has in store for me"

US Republican Rep. Tim Geitner calls this incredibly frustating and said and disgusting

The women say the RISKS of getting covid or even dying from covid does not bother them because they know God will tell them if they shall live to see another day or come to his kingdom.

An estimated 17 people die every day waiting for an organ and Leilani says "It's your choice on what treatment you have. My choice has ben taken and now we can't find any hospital who will take us"

My sister, an educated ER nurse, gave a dick, and so did plenty of health professionals. Now we have a more transmissible disease on our hands, so the health professionals and individuals who previously gave a shit have become more vocal. A flu shot has always been advisable, most people simply aren't educated enough or open enough to be educated regarding how it functions (via herd immunity) in protecting vulnerable members of society.

Nobody's being a Nazi by telling you what works and what doesn't. Now we're trying to handle a vaccine and everyone wants to act like they fucking went to school beyond barely dragging their ass through highschool (most of us).

A negative Covid test doesn't protect her before and after the transplant. I don't really care about whether or not she's negative on the table, I care about putting her and the donor in extreme danger by immunosuppressing them while they're unvaccinated during a pandemic.
