I'd had an NES, SNES, and Genesis, but this was my first "next gen" game I got when I first got my PS1, and one of only 3 games I owned for it, for nearly a year. Several of my friends also played it pretty hardcore, and on the weekends we would have tournaments. Then I got one of the games(not sure which one, but prolly the GBA), and the game was so disappointing. All you did in battle was press left or right to get the monster a certain distance and press A when they're at the right distance or something. Is this game actually good? The only Monster Rancher game other than 2 I played was the TCG one for game boy. So I dont have the biggest frame of reference. I used to have a bunch of mini figures too, but my dad made me use them for a diorama in elementary school even though I told him other kids were going to pull them off and take them. You can do Hard Training > Light Training > Hard > Light without ever resting or reducing their lifespan. This guy was straight off a disc, and Im gonna fuse him with my other Beaclon to finally tackle the last 5 tournaments.
