What's the best way to reheat pizza?

I've tried each method and the one that works for me is cooking in pan on stove top.

Cold pizza is only for hangovers. Warm that shit up. Air fryer does a great job of it, but microwave is often what I end up using out of convenience and not wanting to get dishes dirty.

I have tried the pan method and don't really care for it but the results are ok. I prefer broiling it in the oven. Microwave is an abomination. Air frying tends to make it too crisp by the time it warms it all up.

I typically throw it into a cold oven, turn it on to 350, then take it out 2-3 minutes after the oven gets up to temp. Microwave makes it too soggy. I'll trying air frying at some point, since that's just a more efficient version of the oven approach, but I'm guessing that will take some fiddling to figure out the right temperature/time. Haven't tried using a pan.

based on recommendations here, I've tried oven, and it works but you do end up with a tad overcooked very crunchy pizza.

Depends on the pizza. Some pizza tastes great when it is made and god awful when it is cold.

There are only about (3) places I'll even bother with leftover pizza. A lot of it depends on the crust, the cheese, and the sauce.

Air Fryers are GREAT at reheating pizza, but....it turns out they are also AMAZEBALLS at cooking the pizza in the first place (specifically pappa murphy's).

So here is the thing, I'm an older dude, on a diet and I can't eat a whole freaking papa murphy's pizza in one go. I used to cut it in half and heat up half the pizza then the other half the next day.

The air fryer though works well enough that i'd just cook the whole thing and then reheat it with the air fryer the next day, and it would taste just like new after 5 minutes or so.

But there was still a few annoyances even so. The cut in half would make the middle of the pizza over cooked and burnt kinda (even with the rest normal). That is why I would just cook the whole thing and air fry the rest).

But even air frying the rest, the cheese isn't quite as good reheated (not as flavorful).

But there is another method I found eventually, instead of cooking the whole pizza in the over following the instructions from pappa murphys, cook it in the air fryer instead, after cutting it to the exact amount (for me about 1/3 of the large sized pizza or 2 large slices basically) you want.

The air fryer cooks the whole thing evenly, doesn't burn the edges, and cooks it fully in 10 minutes, with a nice cooked crust (due to the air coming in from underneath) and melted/cooked toppings. It's perfect. You get exactly as much as you want to eat, and can put the other topping you want on fresh when you make the rest of the pizza.

I get the NY extra large pizza with pepporoni for $10. I add my own mushrooms, onions, bell peppers and salami to that. It's a delicious pizza, and it makes 3 meals for me for $10, each and every one totally fresh.

Super yum.

Depends on the pizza. If it has multiple toppings like combination/supreme I enjoy it cold. Otherwise, heated in the oven.

I just havent been on as much lately. I did vote, though. I think it depends on a lot of stuff, though. Like where the pizza is from and stuff.

I know years ago, cold pizza in the morning (leftover pizza) was fine. And still is in some cases But it depends on the pizza. Some will last for that long, and some wont. For reheating, oven is probably a good way. But Im lazy and will use the microwave. Which works well if the pizza isnt too old. Else it will be hard. But I did hear about the water in the microwave trick. Some pizza in fine in the microwave, though. Like when I went home, we went to Ledo pizza a few times. And when reheating that pizza in the microwave, it turned out pretty well, so theres that

Exactly. We have a place here that is just like that. We buy the pizza - stick it in the fridge and eat it over the next few days.

Most of the chain pizza places are only good when hot, IMO.
