Some people like working for the scum of the Earth even if it places them in jeopardy - sometimes because it places them in jeopardy. It's like the people who smoke because it causes cancer. They think it makes them tough. They want to see if they can be one of the ones to survive. In the specific case of Vader's troops, they want to be a part of the fascist right arm of the Empire no matter the cost. GeneralKenobi85 02/01/22 4:25:05 PM #7:	None of the high-ranking members of the Empire seem particularly appealing to work for because they're almost all comically evil. Maybe Thrawn is the exception? I don't know.
