People are probably hype for the crossover in Doc Strange 2 after how huge the Spider-Man was.

Haven't bothered to look for tickets yet but I've never had a problem getting Friday morning tickets the day before at my local theater

CGI in episode 2 was much better

Anyone who is criticizing any TV shows for their CGI these days deserves to have their screen replaced with a CRT. Enjoy being able to play old light gun and rhythm games properly :) The CGI is fine, and for every mistake you might be able to point out these days there are at least ten times as many CGI shots you didn't even notice. Nay, couldn't even notice. Quit whining about the CGI not being perfect when this show has what, a fifth of the budget of a movie and will air for twice as long.

So I just want to say as a big Moon Knight fan, this series has made me so god damn happy so far. I am thrilled with this presentation.

The only thing that made me upset from the last episode is that half of the fight was with an invisible enemy to cover up the cgi/help with the budget, and the other half was shot so dark to cover up the cgi/help with the budget.

If I don't get to see Moon Knight smashing some random thugs to death like he did in the first episode I'll be upset. Please don't have him only fighting cgi stuff

during the invisible fight I was immediately thinking "well that's one way to cut down on the budget" but hey I was laughing and enjoying it

... the hard-to-see dark fighting not so much

I'm enjoying the show but Steven Grant is a bit of a wet blanket so far. I understand that's the point but I'm already getting sick of him acting like a coward and running away from everything. Really hope that Mr Knight isn't completely wasted by Steven being useless.

Agreed. The quality of the CGI in no way makes the show unwatchable, hell I've already watched the episode twice and will do a third time this weekend with my kids. And its not like I consciously went into the show with some high expectation for CGI in the MCU. When I saw it, I noticed it and that made me consider it bad simply because I can't recall ever feeling that way about any CGI in the MCU.

I 100% believe it was artistic decision and not a budget decision. But could I be wrong, obviously.

Posts like this make it seem like you think their opinions are a bigger deal than they are. As I've said, I felt the cgi was a little jarring and I would say it was the first time in the MCU that cgi has actually stood out for me. Thats the only reason I mentioned it. I don't think acknowledging something makes you spoiled. If there was someone in here calling the show unwatchable over the CGI you'd have a point.

Yeah I've also heard complaints about it elsewhere, and I've heard it for every MCU TV show so far. People seem to continually be surprised that the cgi isn't as good as the blockbuster mega high budget movies, and I'm just like duh?

Ok thats fair. I do remember some complaints about the cgi in the last fights of Black Panther and Wandavision, neither of which I had noticed.

Aight, so I finally watched Morbius and I just don't get why people were dumping on it and acting like it was absolutely trash.

Like it's fine, and aggressively so. It has some bad parts in it such as Bat Kamehameha, but it had some really good effects and some good scenes? Like it's not special at all, the story is a bit of a struggle, but it has Matt Smith wilding like a mofo which was great. The after credits stuff was bafflingly awful too though, but... the movie just wasn't that bad?

I dunno, I don't get it.

The last fight in Black Panther is probably the worst cgi in the marvel films though. It was rushed because of some late changes + having to meet the release date. It's... bad.

I've seen worse movies than Morbius. Just very predictable and a bit bland and lacked any sort of humour - I don't need every movie to be like, Thor Ragnarok, but give me something - and I found the ending very rushed. Almost felt like there was a scene missing at the end.

Yeah, I can see this. Also, I watched the trailer and so many scenes they used for it seem like they didn't leave the cutting room floor. I'm okay with predictable. I didn't expect the twist where it was actually Milo that killed the nurse, but I think that also took a lot of bite out of Morbo's situation and didn't necessarily make it seem as dire. I don't think Morbius needed a lot of humor to it. I think maybe it was a bit too long and they could have actually added some romance elements to the romance instead of just suddenly "Oh wait we're into each other this whole time now that I'm not cripplingly ill?"

The more I think about it, the more problems I have. It's a deeply flawed movie but I still don't think it was actively as horrible as people are acting.

Moon Knight 3:

I like how apparently the gods took the same pact as the Eternals to sit around and not do anything when the world was getting fucked up in the past MCU movies.

I haven't finished the episode yet, but Khonshu seems to be fairly unrespected among the rest of the gods, and Marc clearly has mental illness. Harrow may have been more respected by the rest of the gods/avatars prior to getting out of his servitude to Khonshu, hell him getting out of that servitude may be why they respect him enough to take him at his word.

I'm also loving how much of the villain we're getting. And I also suspect somethings up with harrow and the other gods, like why did Osiris bring him back in just to...show him they imprisoned Konshu?

I see that Harrow is in favor of justice on the basis of what he's done and not what he will do when he's the one on trial...!

I just watched the first episde of Moon Knight. It was really good.

I'm wondering what the hook will be into the greater MCU world by the end of the series. Probably just an after credits teaser/sting if I'm guessing. Maybe something to do with Ms. Marvel since that comes next?

Maybe I'm in the minority but I like Moon Knight in the comics and I think this show kinda sucks so far.

I like MK in the comics a lot and I personally think the show is pretty good so far! Khonshu in particular is great and Oscar Isaac is killing it.

I will say that I think each episode has been worse than the one before it, but I've still been enjoying it.
