I'd like to think the only time I was arrogant was when I was selected for Champs, and even then it was more just being proud to represent us and wanting to win,. But maybe people think otherwise!

Well there are a lot of flavors of arrogant.

Like Chris is very high on himself but I think he would cooperate at some level.

Basically there are people like red who will only help when he wants to. I misread you as this type. Possibly Han too. Hard to know cause he was scum but way more chill than I expected.

Then there are Crescents who want to solve it themselves and won't help something they can't drive.

Didn't necessarily doubt this but it felt like a restriction placed for scum and something you'd have already used if you had it as town.

You misinterpret me a little bit. It is less about want and more about motivation.

Oh I absolutely would have already done it as town. I painted myself into a corner by claiming weird role.

My other alternative I was mulling was paralyze doctor but I dont think that would have gone better. At least gladiator was fun to argue

I thought the first 4 hour restriction made sense given king mechanics but yeah "why haven't you done this yet" was too glaring for me to not go hard on

I also wanted to add that I had fun watching this as an outsider, too. Though it was rather difficult to keep up on the first two days, I got the gist of what was happening.

It was amazing how it went from scum playing well and town playing poorly to town figuring things out and scum subsequently imploding. I'm not very good at Mafia but even I started catching on to things that town was pointing out (though I wasn't sure if the last scum was MZero or Scare). Still, fun to watch and learn in case for some reason I decide to be dumb and play again!

Now to read the scum chat...

I can vouch Ulti has been pretty pleasant. I havent had any problems with him

I'm not sure how I ended up following this game, but for some reason I did and it was fun reading. I wasn't exactly sure who I rooted for as a spectator, but I enjoyed Sbell's run the most because it kinda felt like a constant surprise he was alive while he almost always made the right calls.

Honestly, if I had known this was going to be base kingmaker from the getgo, I'd have requested to play, but by the time that was clear Chris had already determined his player list, so... eh.

I would have not played if I knew it was Kingmaker lol

Well, I said almost always and incorrect day 1 thoughts is basically negligible anyways. "Mathematical analysis" wasn't exactly a good case either.

For every town member who ends the voting period voting a member of your team as King, gain 1 point (Max 4 Points)

I mean we ended up imploding so it didn't matter but yeah

That king disallowance seems strong as you approach endgame. That's instawin under LyLo depending on numbers/previous king and could have potentially messed with towns assumption they could just NL to work things out

Ah yeah forgot about that stipulation. So basically can just mess with towns NL assumptions then.

Trying to think if that's sellable as a town power as a scum gambit since town wouldn't know it doesn't work on scum.

We all know mathing is a total scum move, right plum?

And ulti, like I said before, they're separate events, so there was still about a 25% chance of you being scum in that game

Being scum in my only king game sucked. I had problems trying to figure out what town plum would think

Yeah I don't know if I like Kingmaker.

I'm not sure how different I would even play as town. Like, Crescent probably gets killed as town or scum alike there.

It seems like if you screw one reign up you're kinda ignored for the rest of the game even if the game doesnt necessarily blame you for it. Like I think Scare had the same problem I did and his was even more understandable.

I'm dead day 1 if I was scum in this game.

Part of me wonders if I am actually dead earlier as town because I would have more enthusiastically demanded democracy and lopen would have smitten me
