Pecorine and Yukari look your best options to me.

Yui - whatever to bad. Don't do
Nozomi - it's fine, but not really necessary and many better ones to get first
Tamaki - a fine to good one, but she's not widely used enough to be a priority
Rino - Same as Tamaki. Makes her much better at her role, but it's even more niche than Tamaki's
Kokkoro - Don't do, not needed
Monika - Actually a very good one, and makes her a great support. But not one I would recommend as first priority

Pecorine - Makes her a great tank. Nozomi and Jun are the more common tanks however, but Peco with her UE I do think is just as good, but serves other uses (Nozomi has a taunt and Jun has defence down). If she's your main tank, then a very good option
Yukari - becomes a fantastic/broken support with her UE and can see wide use everywhere.

Either/both would be great options.

You do have options of DPS UE as well, depending on who you have - Makoto, Eriko, Djeeta, if you have them. Rei as well is a good option, as gives some defence down and I think you can farm her early on? One to maybe aim for.

I'd say Yukari is probably the best to pick for first UE out of the options given. Pecorine is still a good choice, she just prefers the stat boosts from Ascension before getting her UE. Edit: Though Tennousu might want to hold off on making any UE until the units have been upgraded to 3 star at least, since both UE and Ascension require shards.

One caveat regarding your ranking for Kokkoro's UE though. Priconne NA should start getting 6 star upgrades soon, and the first releases are the Gourmet Guild. 6 star requires UE unlocked, and Kokkoro's a fairly good support with her upgrade, so she's a bit higher priority for an established account at this point. Doesn't affect much for a new account like Tennousu's though, since being able to access 6 star will likely take a while.

Take this with a grain of salt since I've only read this and don't have first hand knowledge, but apparently Artery Gear will have 200 as pity on banners when previous servers were 110. According to that, assuming they are as stingy with currency as other regions you'll be able to pity every 4 months or longer as f2p.

It looks like you're right but CN apparently has different gacha mechanics. We'll see if it end up panning out alright or being bad.

Artery Gear launches in around 20h from the time this thread was posted and similar to the Counter Side thread I created a few weeks ago, here's one for AG!

First of all, what's exactly AG? The shortest answer is Epic Seven with QOL. While I kinda hate comparing games like that, this is the simplest and shortest answer. Biggest changes compared to E7:

-no ML, there are just RGB unit.

-you can unequip gear and move it between characters for free,

-you can move stats between gear and upgrade them, so you're not at the mercy of RNG all the time,

-offline farming - pick a boss, how stamina should be used, and close the game. Come back sometime later to gather your hunt loot,

-battle settings - you can either play to the game fully on auto or specify the order your characters should use their skills and on who to use them. This allows you to optimize your hunts/pvp/pve better,

-pity from normal banners 'moves' between banners. You get a special currency for pulling and you can exchange it for a 5 star character that rotates in the shop,

-pity is 200 and the rates are 2.5% for 5 star and 0.7% for the promoted unit. While the CN server has 110 pity, their pulling works a bit different from the other servers (JPN, TW, and now Global). This is not Global being shafted as some people already are trying to paint it,

-As a F2P you get around 75-80 pulls per month (sometimes more, for example during Collab weeks), but you can increase the amount if you're a low spender. For around 25-30$ you can get around 120-140 pulls per month.

Small edit to add explanation about the pity in this game:

-Pity in this game works similar to Guardian Tales. For each pull you do, you get 1 'Special Currency.' Once you gather 200 SC you can exchange it in the banner shop for the promoted unit on that banner.

-If you don't gather 200 SC to buy the unit, once the banner ends, whatever SC you gained gets converted to Universal SC that you can use in another shop that has one 5-star unit, but what unit is that changes bi-weekly.

-So, in CN you get the unit when you do 110 pulls on a banner (there's no shop exchange for the banner unit), but you need 300 USC to purchase a unit in the universal shop.

-For JPN, TW, and now Global, there's no hard pity, but it costs 200 SC to exchange for the unit in the banner shop, but the cost of units in the universal shop was also set up to 200 USC.

-So it's basically a trade-off - in CN you can reach the initial pity faster, but you gotta pay more for the characters in the universal shop, and in other regions it's balanced.

-Also, what's important - even if you pull the promoted unit in let's say 50 pulls, and keep pulling further, you still get the SC that later gets converted into USC. So you can double dip on the pulls you do - if you get the character you want in let's say 100 pulls and you did another 100, you can instantly exchange SC in the shop for a dupe of the banner character.

-And a second also - for Collab banners, you only need 90 SC to buy the unit that's available in the banner shop.

TLDR: S!Saren gacha next as expected, and runs 6/19 through 7/4. Gourmet summer event rerun will be 6/20-6/27. World 26 unlocks 6/27, along with 14-4 equips and level 139 cap. Luna Tower will run 6/16-6/21, with floors up to 290 unlocked. June CB will be 6/28-7/3. Normal 2x drop 6/16-6/21, Hard 2x drop 6/21-6/27, and Dungeon 2x mana 6/27-7/5.

Nothing particularly surprising. Gear drop events before the next world unlocks are a bit annoying, but less so than last month's since we're only moving up to 14-4.

Oh, and the UE for the Gourmet Guild summer units was released today, for those that want to spend amulets on them. S!Karyl and S!Peco shards may show up in the Master Shop after refresh though. I'm not actually sure when we can expect them in Master Shop, especially given that shard releases don't always match JP schedule.

Time to pity for Saren!

And yeah, probably gonna wait to see if Master Shop refreshes with the shard before spending amulets, as will get pretty costly getting Karyl up high.

You can possibly get shards from the prize gacha pulls during the S!Peco/S!Karyl rerun banner that's coming next, but that's mostly just bait since we don't have the character shards from pulling yet (which I think is supposed to start with H!Kyouka's banner this year).

Yes. S!Makoto banner should start 7/4. It should be followed by the S!Tamaki/S!Suzume prize gacha, then S!Maho, then Neneka Prifest. We should get free daily 10 rolls during S!Maho and Neneka as well.

Oh thats good; Suriel is considered decent/good. The lists I saw had her as pretty meh. Then again they were probably just a single persons opinion with little information to back it up. I sort of want to make a burn team with her and that other chick who I forget IIRC she had big ol boobas lol

Both Peco and Yukari are still 2* in mine along with some others, namely Tamaki and Yui.
Yukari and Tamaki had it easy because I can get 5 shards every day.
My Peco had it rough 'cause hard stage trolled me hard.

Oh yeah.

For any unit, you almost always want to go 3* first, then UE, then 5*

Oh, you guys are rerunning summer Kokkoro too.

Just in case you weren't aware, you can get more than 5 shards for a character from the shops each day. At the bottom of the shop interface is a button to refresh the stock, which has a cost that will increase the more you refresh. For dungeon coins, the first three refreshes are only 10 coins each. So if you can get enough coins, refreshing the shop after buying the shards you want can help you get shards quicker.

I don't remember the coin income from the lower dungeons very well, so this strategy might only work once you're on the second or third dungeon, depending on how far you can clear.

I know that, but my Battle/Princess Arena coins income is just wee bit shy of 800 every day.

I cannot clear 3rd dungeon yet, but I can reach 9/10 every time.

So if 3* first then UE, wouldn't that make Monika or Nozomi (or Rino) be a good candidate for UE in my side? Nozomi shards are ready, but Monika have to wait until Tamaki reach 3*.

Nozomi's UE isn't very impactful. It makes her better, but it isn't very noticable. Monika's UE is pretty noteworthy, but her main niche is short fights/waves because the skill it upgrades is only ever cast once per wave, so she loses value in PvE as you eventually progress through the game. Rino's is decent, but she doesn't really take off until she can upgrade to 6 star.

I'd just recommend you hold onto the fragments for now until you're ready to upgrade Yukari or Pecorine. If you feel you absolutely must spend them now, Monika is probably the best upgrade out of what you've listed, with Rino being second, but both see more PvP use than PvE use in general, so I'm not sure how much they'll actually help you progress.

Well, in that case I will hold on to the fragments.

Yukari probably would be the first one because her shards are the easiest to get plus being more impactful and general than Peco.

On that note, does Sanctum Expedition counts per stage (aka Lv 1 and Lv 2 have different attempts for each) or it's like Grottoes? Because the Lv 2 expedition is like really far (I'm @ 9-3)

Edit: How is that purple-haired, onee-san looking character whose shards you can get from Hard 6-3? Is she good?

Sanctum Survey counts are per stage. You can do 5 runs of Lvl 1 and 5 runs of Lvl 2 per day without refreshing. Lvl 2 has higher drop rates for Princess Heart fragments, but I don't remember how much.

Shizuru is a decent sub-tank against physical damage with some healing. She can work as a secondary tank depending on your team comp. She does a bit more damage than most dedicated tanks and has a bit of spot healing, but she stands behind a number of frontline DPS which makes it hard for her to tank in a frontline party.

If you want to farm for her, you can probably find a use for her, but she's not especially powerful.

On the subject of 6 star upgrades, since I brought it up and we're getting closer to the first releases, the guide I reference for UE priority has updated with an expected schedule for 6 star releases (based on JP releases), as well as some general ratings on how impactful the upgrade is and where it matters most:

I logged in just fine, played a little bit of the tutorial, and then uninstalled. The game has too many red flags.

I wasn't able to get just earlier, and a few people on Twitter were posting the same error.

...Then again, FGO is giving me connectivity issues right now, since it's updating.

I'm reading some shit on the Artery Gear Discord that the pre-reg rewards are obtained over 3 days. Not sure if that's true, but if it is then I'm out.

What sort of red flags are we talking about? For me, the biggest is Google Translate story. And although it says "uncomplete" (lol) for the link account quest, the story had good grammar.

Although it does also say "No this type of quest for now"...

And yeah, I'm pretty sure the rewards are over 3 days. At the very least the infinite reroll ticket is day 1 so you can do it right away.

For me the biggest issue is the over reliance on T&A. Any time I see shit like that I automatically assume the game sucks and is using this shit to otherwise get you to play some game you'd normally never play.

Except that they removed the two best units (Sirius & Alice) from the infinite reroll pool.

Meh, I rerolled for hours in Blue Archive and got nowhere; I can handle the pain lol. I mean I seriously went over 100 pulls without getting a non-tutorial 3 star :<

But so far AG seems like it's right up my alley, so I'll probably keep playing it unless it does something extremely dickish to warrant a drop. I'm the opposite of you Tyranthraxus; big boobas are a plus for me lol. I hope to get Sirius and Suriel if possible.

Fun fact for CS. You know you can dismantle the weapons you get in raids for those precious purple coins? Well how do you tell they're from raids? They all have a purple glow to them. So make sure to sell those and not use them for fodder, cuz you get a decent amount from selling them

Speaking of those things, where do you spend them? They're the Superconductive Tokens, right?

You craft gears with em. Probably some of the best gears you can get, but it has way more RNG to get what you want

Ayy, they returned the 10 quests = 100 crystals thing in EoM.

Spent like 2 hours doing infinite re-roll on Artery Gear for Ginga + Grace + Timy + Roko. Had a few instances of Ghost/Hearin + 2 out of the 3 others.

Open the free 5* ticket and it's another Ginga.
