Ironically Master Duel is my best gacha experience now.

Do you have strong supports to use? A support can carry through the early story nodes. My friend requests are full, but if you give me your friend code I can send you one.

Ooooh, I just realized that in EoM, I set some characters as support and that's why those same characters are grayed out in the 'sell allies' option.

Ah, I just saw the event. It is indeed sucks.

Also it is pretty funny, that you can lose points continuously if your poisoned character is the one in the open, but once you tag them out (and you must because there's exactly two screenwide poison AoE) you stop losing points.

I simply don't have the firepower so I just sit this one out (lol at Lv 5 needing 7.7k PWR).

Pretty sure I'm quitting as well. Felt awful logging in and doing the event. Summoned with the last of my gem stash for Kevin, 12 10-pulls, no Kevin. Got the new shitty memory gem 4 times though.

The game has all the shit it needs to be a really good offline Mana game. Basically the entire series is replicable within scout quests and a game consisting of nothing but large scout quests is essentially the format used in Legend of Mana.

Instead not even one month into the game and it's already turned into whalebait leaderboard climbing.

If the reward was just spirit crystals or benevodons I could probably live with it as that's essentially what Mobius FF did. This OTOH is complete garbage.

I play only three gacha games but have been playing them for some time now:
-Girls' Frontline (since November 2018)
-Arknights (since global's launch)
-Punishing: Gray Raven (also since global's launch)

I'm fairly knowledgeable about all three, so feel free to ask me any questions you may have and I'll assist you to the best of my ability. I also run general threads of the first and last games on that list on their respective game boards with plenty of info to help new players get started since I can go more into depth there than I can here.

You meant A and B, right? You can't buy A and C together. Anyway, yeah, that'll really boost your Black Card income by a substantial margin every month. Monthly passes are, in my experience, usually a good value if you plan on sticking with a game for a while -- you get a lot in return for spending a little.

Speaking of spending, the other stuff in the Top-Up shop is a little trickier to navigate, so be careful what you buy if you plan on spending any more than buying monthly passes.

I tried the CBT. It's an idle game, so that should tell you everything you need to know about it's quality. I thought it was one of those unofficial games at first that pop up constantly for Pokemon, DBZ, Naruto, etc.

I'm still playing the same three as before (Princess Connect, Revue Starlight, Tenkafuma) and I really don't see any English releases on the horizon that interest me all that much. There are a few that are only out in Japan that I would try out if they got English releases, but it's not worth getting excited over those until an English release is actually announced.

@ennuigamer Whoops, sorry! Yeah I meant Pass A and B! I regret not buying them sooner. Also I already know my way around the top-up shop lol. Bought packs and stuff from there. I bought rainbow cards before. The only thing I didn't look into were the monthly passes lol. Thanks for the info!

It wouldn't be so bad if we knew there was going to be an alternative way of getting it outside of the event, but the "limited" part definitely seems to be leaning into the "one and done" category.

Hell, even if they re-run the same event with the same prizes, you're still at the mercy of whales who are going to try even harder to make sure nobody else can have it due to manufactured "digital scarcity" bullshit.

Bad enough when it's just cosmetics, but as mentioned, there's actual stats on this thing. Literally pay-to-win.

Yeah. I actually like PvP but not when it's just straight up whale or nothing. The best part of Guardian Tales PvP is that the rewards for sucking are just less of the shit the top players get not anything exclusive except 2 weapon costumes.

I dont like Guardian Tales or Azur Lane PvP because its auto and the AI is dumb as bricks. But at least AL lets you restart :<

I think I could have Nozomi after today's reset.

Finally, a tank other than Pecorine. Although after stepping to Rank 7 she tanks okayish.

I actually have difficulty clearing the maps in Illya event. It feels like the events are scaled on my levels? Because Kuuka or the Lyrical trio was doable but this one and the Re:Zero one walled me.

Event stages in Priconne do scale to player level IIRC, because they also scale the equipment drops to level (to an extent, I think it might only go to gold level equips). The boss levels are always fixed though.

Just a few tens of thousands more to 300k in EoM's event. Cannot get the time bonus so I cannot be touched by the boss' attacks except that wide area move.

And there is someone in the ranking using solo Quilto (our PC) getting to ranks of tens how is that possible.

Is there a way to dodge the poison wide area move without getting hit?

There's a Harry Potter one coming soon, a DC puzzle & Dragon clone, and I bet you my pants we'll see a Spy x Family gacha announcement before end of summer.

Apparently a Code Geass gacha game got released in Japan last week. Obviously no English release announced, but if it got one, I'd check it out.

Counter:Side global roadmap is looking pretty intense. It could be looking bad for the F2P crowd, outside of being able to reroll for an awakened unit on launch.

I liked the first season, but was so meh on the second I didn't even finish it. Or how I loved alot of the Knighmare Frame designs, but realize that best girl Milly was never a pilot (and thus likely isn't playable).

We'll have to wait and see. It mainly depends on what the increased rewards they're giving to make up for the fast pace. To quote one of the guys that runs the wiki:

"In SEA while the first awakened employee (Hilde) was added to the game after 3 weeks, Global will get it on launch, but this means you can easily reroll for her. Operators are bait and you don't ever pull on their banners, because you can buy them in the shop for a currency you get from doing random pulls.
Furthermore, according to the roadmap, they plan to release one new awaken employee per month which is better compared to SEA where we were getting a new awaken every 3 weeks for the first few months
So while some of the things are frontloaded (battle pass and first awaken banner) the pace of banners is similar or slightly slower than SEA. Whales will whale, obviously, and I guess that's why they did it, but F2Ps aren't fucked in the process as the banner pace is more than fair - especially if they will increase the rewards from events and coupons like they promised (and we're getting 1.5k quartz coupon on release already as a bonus).
Sure, when comparing content releases, Global is getting the majority of them in the first four months, but it isn't a bad thing - while players won't be able to fully clear them, they will be slowly progressing through them on their own pace.
In SEA a lot of the gamemodes were added too late and they were instantly cleared on day 1 and people complained they had nothing to do."

As someone who played on SEA, my main issue is the PC client coming in August instead of launch. PvP and raid battles crash on my iPad, so I did raids on PC and either did PvP on PC or just took the loss on my iPad since you can get the daily currency amount through losses anyway. Emulators are crashy for it too, but that didn't matter with a PC client to use.

Been hearing that a lot. Might build her up after I'm done gearing my current team. I really hate this game's gear system. Randomized stat boosts suck, and you don't get nearly enough of the upgrade materials, even after selling unused gear.

Joker and Morgana will have a banner first then next week will be Violet and Crow.

The Global Livestream is tonight at 10:45 PM EST so after it ends I'll talk about whether the ticket is confirmed.

Is there any indication on which units will be worth pulling for? Been running Roland and Lougus mainly, so I'm definitely in need of someone to fill that 3rd spot, at least until I can get SM Theria from the guaranteed banner (whenever that might be).

You should still be able to clear the event and get all copies of Summer Hokusai. S!Hokusai has a damage bonus, plus will gain 2x Exp for leveling during this event, and her ascension mats will come from progressing the event. Additionally, you'll want to level her anyways, because several of the story fights will force you to use her.

You'll have some issues farming efficiently, but that should be it.
