Yeah this, from both Maeve and Kimiko. I'm fine because Kimiko still has a lot to offer for the show imo and Maeve deserves a happy ending for all the shit she put up with. Seeing as how Butcher only has at most 18 months to live, I can't see this show going anymore than another season. I think 4 seasons would be a good way to wrap things up, or at least still having Homelander as an antagonist. Don't get me wrong, the actor is fucking amazing but Homelander (as a character himself) is getting tiring after awhile as the main bad guy. But then he runs, gets a pep talk from woodland creatures, and then gets killed like that Daredevil copy. Noir could have been interesting. The potential was there. But its like they went the WandaVision route of shooting for shock factor instead of a good plot for the character. Even the cartoon The Boys set Noir up to be more than he seems. Hes the second OG Seven member to die and he goes out like a chump, alone, and his helmet taken like a trophy. Being in the same episode as SB getting ganged up on because people dont know Russian musics makes him black out and kill people accidentally, instead of Homelander who kills on purpose? It was building up to a lot and then most of those storylines either end up being forgotten or they're back at where they were at the beginning of the season. Only Homelander and Butcher really had anything meaningful stick by the last episode. A Train too but he's the most C-story ass character in the show. Both him and the Deep feel so detached from the rest of the story, which is fine, but their stories on their own aren't enough to carry their own segments imo. MM gets some closure at least but it wasn't very satisfying. Maeve making it out alive was dumb. Noir dying was dumb. Annie and Hughie breaking up was dumb.
