Slayer_22 07/07/22 9:53:55 PM #8:	Okay, okay, holy shit. Okay. That finale went in the exact fucking OPPOSITE direction I expected. Noir dying caught me off guard HARD. I wasn't expecting that in the slightest. But fuck man...RIP Noir. Someone called it in another topic, he'd die seeing his animated friends slowly fade away. Fuck. That was rough. Maeve got some incredible licks in, I wasn't expecting her to actually do ANY damage. But when you saw blood, God DAMN. And she got to live to boot. I wonder if this is her send-off? Homelander, as always, a fantastic villain. Him actually having some weakness and trying to be a good dad with Ryan? Like...my God, that's so fucked up but adorable. But Ryan is positively fucked now, I don't think there's any coming back. Soldier Boy is still their own solution to this crazy fucker, I think. I don't think they can remove Homelander in any other way. And I hate to say it, but him removing HL and Ryan was probably the only way they could have finished him off. Unless we turn Ryan against his dad(seems impossible at this point), of course. I still love his character, though. You could see him about to break down as he called HL weak and shit. And, honestly, I still don't know how he's racist? They haven't showed a single second of him being racist, but MM saying as much...idk, it seemed out of left field. And The Boys have an interesting new dynamic now. Starlight being a part of them, Butcher on his way to death's door, MM finally isn't ashamed of who he is, Hughie...hasn't really changed much, Kimiko and Frenchie looking way better than they were a few episodes ago too lol.
