Seiso is a Japanese term which largely means neat, clean, and tidy. In the context of women, it would mean that they're humble, polite, use beautiful language, carry themselves beautifully, etc.

The term kinda took off culturally once idol culture became a thing, because it was largely presumed (and enforced) that all idols would act "seiso" at all times for their fans.

Playing Yakuza 4 rn and I'm kind of annoyed that Akiyama has to share the protagonist role with two other bozos (and Kiryu). He's such a good character and I'm having so much fun playing as him that I don't want to switch characters. :<

Akiyama's speed makes him real fun to play when you open him up. It's a bit of a bummer to have to go to new weaker characters.

Character #2 gets REALLY fun when you get him high level.

Character #3... less so, but he's got some stuff.

Beat the Cabaret Club sidequest and finally got the REAL reward for it (Gee, I bet you're never gonna guess what I'm about to post >____>)

I've only played up to Kiwami 2. What are the hostess clubs like in 3 and 4?

In my opinion, the hostess engagement in 3-5 is less... engaging.

But it's largely like it is in Kiwami. Go to the club, order your drinks, get the questions right, profit.

Okay yes this is true. A hostess will ask you a question (like what you think is her best feature) and you can stare at the part you think it is. Hair, eyes, mouth, chest, hands, legs, etc.

Funnily enough, one of the questions, the response is to stare at anywhere but the hostess.

When you do get to 3 btw don't make the same mistake I did in putting them off for too long. I ended up having to do like, 9 hostess substories AND the hostess maker substory all in the last chapter and it was such a drag, dude.

Cee-lo's not too bad.

The object is to beat the banker (which rotates each round). The banker sets the point total to beat with their throw, and each of the three players after that attempts to get a higher point total than the banker, each player having to place a bet.

For each round, you have three throw attempts, and you get points if you have two matching dice, and your point is the value of your third die. So if you roll a 2-2-3, your points are 3. If you roll a 1-1-5, your points are 5. Once you get a valid roll for points you cannot roll anymore.

There are also special rolls. For example, all three dice the same is I think 3 times the betting amount. 1-2-3 is a bad roll that loses you twice the amount you bet.

I don't know if it's how it works in Yakuza, but 1-1-1 is 3x loss as well. 4-5-6 is also the reverse as 1-2-3 and is an auto-win (ignoring others rolling similarly).

Definitely doesn't work that way in Yakuza games.

Ah, kk. I was just drawing from my limited experience with cee-lo and I couldn't remember how it worked exactly in Yakuza. The betting multipliers are off as well, but I chalked that up more to the actual numbers there being pretty flexible in the same way it works with Poker and how much you have to put into the pot.
