To be fair I didn't 100%/platinum any of them, didn't even bother with the true final Millenium Tower in LaD after seeing how much grinding was needed, or most of the bouncer missions in Kiwami 2(did 20 of them, looked at the list of remaining ones, nope'd the fuck out of there).

True Final Millennium Tower is so much fucking grinding. Like I think it would take me 10-20 hours of grinding before I could attempt that

Hey Cyric I'm sure you get this a lot, but thanks for making all those Yakuza guides. I expected the Straight to the Top substory to be a lot more tedious than it was, but your guide made it smooth as butter. Far as I can tell I didn't even end up unlocking any additional wardrobe options like you said would happen, is that normal? Not that it matters at this point, I don't even care enough to scout the other ones lol. Now I just need to slog through the Kamurocho hostesses and then do Murder at Cafe Alps before I can try fighting Jo Amon. Only ever fought him in Kiwami 2 so far and that kind of sucked because I couldn't figure out if his shield ever breaks, but hopefully I'll be better at fighting him in 3. I actually kind of prefer 3 over Kiwami 2, as long as it's 1v1 fights anyway.

Finally! After hours and hours of Real Estate battling, I finally beat it and unlocked the real prize...

That's the one that most people tend to miss for getting her video, since you have to play enough Pool to unlock the "Golden Ball" game mode, which is entirely disconnected from the regular Pool completion metrics.

People are very divided on the disco minigame. For some(like me), it's the easiest minigame in the entire game. For others, it's impossible.

I think RGG got the message. Dancing in Lost Judgment was considerably simpler.

I think it's mostly just that I have no rhythm, and it's legitimately hard for me to tell when I'm supposed to press the buttons just by eyeballing it. Doesn't help that my controller's wireless connection will just go completely screwy and drop my inputs sometimes.

I can hold my own and I beat all the substories for it, but otherwise I'm not a fan of it lol

I somehow got all the telephone club stories done lol, but it was pretty annoying. Just look at the bikini colors and listen to the voice to help you filter out the repeats

Etsuko's pretty freaking hilarious, I'd request her. Pretty sure I actually used her for most or maybe even all of Y0's cabaret club sidequest, purely just to flex on the competition.

Sure was real fucking swell of Yakuza 3 Remastered to crash twice in a row right when I was two bars away from beating Jo Amon. Finally got it on the third try but I was fucking nervous the whole time. Wasn't even a hard fight, just tedious and annoying. Really looking forward to going apeshit on the final battles now.

I seem to recall feeling as if Y3's Amon is the easiest one, because I seem to recall being able to Tiger Drop the shit out of him.

Yeah his first phase in particular was easy, so was his second phase, it was the third phase that gave me trouble. I dunno, just wasn't used to fighting that moveset or something. Didn't even do that much damage unless he caught me in a big combo. Frankly I was more scared of the game crashing on me again than I was of actually fighting Amon.

I really don't think the game is that bad at all. Sure even common enemies block a lot, but the game gives you plenty of tools to deal with it. Once you unlock Komaki Parry and Tiger Drop in Chapter 5 there shouldn't be many bosses that actually give you trouble. Basically if you can slog past the Chapter 2 boss you shouldn't have too much trouble after that.

Just learn how to Tiger Drop and it becomes less unbearable. The enemies do nothing but guard 23/7 and if you want to get anywhere you just bank on that last little bit of them doing something through AI abuse and smashing them with a Drop.

Okay not gonna lie I just finished Yakuza 3 and the pre-credits cutscene literally had me burst out laughing, what the fuck was that? I don't wanna spoil it but just trust me, it's hilarious.

Final fight was pretty dope though. Honestly my least favorite part of this game was not being able to pause during cutscenes, had to put the PS4 in rest mode so I could take a piss, ridiculous.

Yakuza 3 hits better for people who identify with being parents. There's a lot of dad stuff going on.

I'm not even a parent and the dad stuff was my favorite part. I'd literally play an entire Yakuza game that was just the first several chapters of Yakuza 3.

Before I start 4 I really gotta know, can you pause cutscenes in that one? Either with Options or Home button? Not being able to pause a game gives me anxiety man, I gotta plan around that shit.

Yeah I'm on PS4, so the PS button actually pauses? Even in the nice-looking voice acted cutscenes? Really looking forward to 4 tbh. It was technically the first game I tried (PSN Plus on PS3) but it didn't really hook me back then, really looking forward to giving it another go! Tomorrow though, I'm all Yakuza'd out for today.

Actually, might even play more LA Noire or Mass Effect next, just to cleanse the palate.

I believe specifically in that game, and a few others. I'm pretty sure the PS button doesn't pause in Dragon Engine games (but they do have a pause function), so that's something.
