i buy this explanation from Lea 100%. it sounds authentic and matches up with my perception of her play in past games. previously i was quite surprised she was making it a point to go after Han here (which he definitely took issue with) but this satisfies my curiosity, so have at it.

I also think Town (Miller) Ninja, while normally a completely useless role, is reasonable enough with item gameplay, though it theoretically implies some kind of weak scum investigative role, which is perhaps the strangest thing about it

Keep in mind I was a day tracker as scum in the last role madness. Scum will have day powers too I am 99 % sure.

So, here is what is gonna happen.

You are going to claim. Everyone is going to stop what they are doing and they are going to vote you, if you do not.

The fact is simple, you played with wifom from the very first post in a way that served no purpose. You don't have to outright say to scum if you are town that you intend to play chicken with them and bring the exposure to yourself. So, it served no purpose. If your goal was to draw a shot as town, it is something you would have done otherwise and mentioned after the game you tried that.

Thus, you have played a game with scum, if town, that insinuates you are nothing worthwhile. It's wifom directly for scum and to obfuscate the game for town.

On the other hand, in a role madness game, scum generally has to try and wait as long to claim to try and make sure they can pidgeon-hole their claim to what fits the set up, unless top tier scum. The one caveat around not claiming early is to claim something like Miller early... especially one with something else involved if you oops move also and just drew too much attention to yourself possibly.

If you do not claim today and are town, you have not played to win. You did not teach anyone any lessons. You did not further town's goals. You did nothing but waste time and a day. Thus, you will claim because it is the right thing to do and you put yourself in this position due to your either get out ahead of the game scum claim or your wifoming to scum at the expense of town.

If you are scum, by all means, refuse to claim and not even try. More power to you.

Thus, I will ask you nicely to just claim fully now as I have requested so we don't have to waste time bringing all these votes to bear and wasting time, if you are town.

See the thing is when I ctrl+f Red and see the spicy post, due to the way find works I see the hb post sitting right above it. Further I don't see the point of an ISO if you have strictly posts in a vacuum.

It feels like you're just ISOing to go through the motions. It would take literally no effort to realize red had been reacting to hb, and in fact in a genuine ISO probably would have been absorbed with zero effort from you due to how ctrl+f works.

yeah he's overanalyzing the world's least meaningful comment but that's just his personality i think. if he insists it's truly relevant to voting at the end of the day i will be having a problem

tbh i think we collectively work together to enable corrik to do his thing on day 1 for once and see what happens

he's been pretty spot on for the last few games and if he's scum it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out how he's led us astray if so

I don't disagree with the badness of kirbys play to start but I also got comfortable with Kirby and don't think he's scum.

Not thinking he is scum, doesn't mean he is town or a friend of town. His play serves no purpose right now as town, and I have given him a clear out to just own up to it and let's move on from it.

Godfather claiming Miller is quintessential in my mind amazing play. If the cop still scans your alignment after you said otherwise, no one would suspect you are a godfather. They would question his scans or sanity first or his legitimacy in total.

Anyone doubting this game has a 3rd party, beyond the opening post referring to non-town, is probably forgetting the fact of the neutral jungles and other such minions that are in a moba. It's not a question of if there is one... but how many.

We are trying to eliminate obfuscating play to town to hone in better on scum. His play doesn't serve town purpose at this point and can fit in well with actually being scum.

would be genuinely shocked if it's more than one. Roshan is the big jungle creep that would need representation, the rest of the jungle monsters are generic unnamed monsters

How do they balance the opposing side of the map to prevent teams from focusing control on just one side? Or is this in the middle somewhere?

Can we not get into conversations about how this game is not like a different game of the same genre? It really just fills OUR game up with things that do not matter.

I haven't played dota in like 4 years or so, and never played super seriously, but as far as I remember it just isn't balanced out on the map like that. i think they actually moved the side of the map Roshan was on since I stopped playing too. i guess maybe you could split push the other side and then TP over back to roshan? not sure.

Do me a favor - rewire your perspective for a moment to where you realize I am not floundering but simply being earnest and truthful. How does this adjust your thoughts on Kirby's vote on me?

I am currently readjusting my thought process. Even just rereading the first two pages, aside from SBell's initial post, they read good to me. And I do think Lopen doesn't gun for me like this as Scum.

I think some of the people saying "I think Han is just Town guys" could be Scum taking advantage of the situation. In that event, I would see Kirby as more likely Town, but I do concur that his is the worst vote on me.

They dont. Dota balance sucks.

Also there were like 6 pages of posts while i was sleeping. Only mildly irritating.

There is going to be a huge boon to whichever side kills the 3rd party first. Hmmm. Interesting. Maybe best to leave that alone for now.

Do not like how Kirby is not engaging with Corrik's challenge of his claim. He's had half an hour. He posted after the challenge so he's clearly been here.

And when Roshan dies, it drops a few different items depending on how many different times you've killed him. One is a straight up revive when you die (likely would be Bulletproof in mafia format), a full heal (doctor heal), and one that improves one of your abilities (upgrades your role? idk).

so that's my pet theory on potential 3rd party. it might be too much overlap with isquen's secret shop though, which is also gonna give us items.

very curious about the shareable aspect of items. it's loosely mentioned in the rules, but I can't tell whether that ability is locked to certain players/roles, the items themselves, or if anyone can do it at anytime

No, Kirby as Scum would strike me as him being the only Scum to hop onto me. In that event, I wouldn't see it as a Scum "let's get Han out of here" so much as Kirby acting like normal Scum.
