I apologize for that but the low ammo critique against RE6 is a fake critique. Ammo management is a thing in all REs.

That's really dumb.
I don't personally think it's anywhere near the best, but who cares if a few or even a lot of people think it's the best? It just means a bunch of individuals like the game a lot to consider it their personal best.

Would you neglect feeling the need to be "that guy" if instead of a thousand saying it's their personal best, only two or three did so? What's your metric for determining when you need to be "that guy" and shoot it down? Is it when you read or hear enough opinions you disagree with that it starts affecting you?

It's like those people who, in a fandom, say "_____ (Final Fantasy VII/Tales of Symphonia/Breath of the Wild) is overrated and doesn't deserve its popularity. ______ (Final Fantasy VI/Tales of Hearts/A Link to the Past) is much better."

Like... if it's not popular, if it doesn't have the most praise within its respective series, SOMETHING in the series will. Something's always gotta be the most popular relatively speaking.

I have no problem with discussing flaws or hearing flaws about things people have with the things I enjoy. Heck, I love NieR Automata's story, but I equally enjoy hearing the views of people who love it and hate it.
I just think it's egotistical and almost thin-skinned to do so simply because a lot of people like something, almost like you're saying you opinion's the truth, and subjective enjoyment can play no part in it.

But RE6 and RE5 are some of the best co-op games to date.

The idea of two pairs having to work together in RE6 was an underutilized mechanic that I wish was developed.

I liked Leon's section in 6 but the other chapters were exhausting.

sherrys campaign was my favorite one (i refuse to call it jakes campaign. she was the legacy character, it was her story overall)
he just got top billing to please depressed wesker fans who never got over the end of RE5

The only part in 6 I liked was during Leon's campaign where you're traveling with a bunch of normal people through some buildings trying to survive, until I realized this is basically a different take on Outbreak and makes me wish they just remade Outbreak instead. That was 10 years ago and I still want a remake of Outbreak damn it.

This is my absolute biggest complaint with 6. I played through 4+5 back to back, and when I jumped into 6 the guns just lacked oomph.

I don't hate the game, it did some things right and I personally don't care that it was basically an RE skinned 3rd person shooter, but the guns just felt like mush.

Guns sounds weak. Imagine that being your deal breaker.

In a third person shooting game where there's more shooting than ever, and the guns are worse than every previous installment, including PSOne games? Yeah, imagine that.

The guns "sounds" worst and "feels" weak, yeah ok. I'm perfectly fine with people using whatever reason they need to use to feel justified but people need to accept that sometimes the reason they use are trivial as shit.

It's okay. I dislike a lot of things for dumb reasons too.

The shooting is fine. Real easy to control and felt fluid. Had no issues with the guns or combat at all.

people say the skills are useless but i love the skill to have them drop more ammo.

the skill that makes your partner heal a health bar for you when they rescue you from dying state is super useful

I wish I saved videos of some of my good rounds in Mercs, so I could display how to utilize the controls lol.

in terms of new characters piers was the best and jake was the worst
id be fine if helena and jake never reappeared
but id like sheva to show up again.

natalia from revelations 2 would be 21 by now so she could be a playable character in another game and finally resolve the cliffhanger about her character

I played through both 5 and 6 co-op (5 many, many times) and I love 5 and hate 6.

I thought RE6 was the worst third person shooter I played that generation so yeah being actiony wasn't the problem.

Binary Domain is the actual underrated third person shooter from the 360 generation.

I loved the action. It played like I thought RE4 should have. It's by far my favorite Resident Evil. Going to playing RE4 to RE6 to going back and playing the old games was disappointing.
