The problem is too many of y'all think atheism means being anti-religion
I mean a bunch of atheists here are that way. I remember once there was a topic where a disturbing number of people voted that if they could, they would eliminate religion over cancer.

I gave you specified complexity and irreducible complexity. Try to focus on my posts.

If you actually took some time to study evolutin, and actually knew how it worked, we wouldn't be having this conversation right now

How so?
Provide actual tangible body of facts that prove your claim is fact.

Not God of the gaps, not theories that dodge giving proof, not dodges that claim some magical being has done what we can't explain.

Give actual proof.

You are absolutely wrong. There's been quite a bit of proof

O yeah, lol, soooo much proof. Some cavemen lied and hallucinated. Such proof.

Saying there is proof is not proof.

And if I provided links to scientific journals, youd probably claim they were part of a conspiracy or something.

The problem is evolution doesn't work. Throughout this topic, you accuse me, arrogantly, of having no evidence. Why do you ignore my posts do much? Also, I have studied evolution and found it lacking evidence.

You dont have much critical thinking ability I feel.

People use to say the sun is a god riding his chariot across the sky. Would you, in that era, claim to say Well, I see a bright thing up there, so it must be true!?

The point is that you believe what those before you have explained to be the truth of the world. Be it science or any other explanation. Without you verifying it for yourself. That is belief.

Known as the complexity fallacy.

I've studied your posts and found them lacking.

Evolution is an extremely robust theory, if you find it lacking u lack.

I've studied many times the evidence by evolution proponents and evolution critics. The evolution proponents, including Darwin, have always been shown to be fatally wrong in their descriptions.

It would be possible to group up in a cult-like fashion, but I dont think there are any such actual groups in existence to use atheism is their main selling point. In terms of outspoken or smarmy people, they definitely exist, but the reasons for their combativeness are usually fairly different. Trying to compare that to religion which is much more unified is kind of pointless.

Why do you trust that the thing you see is a planet? You see many things in the sky. But you trust stars are stars, the sun is a sun, planets are planets etc.

Science, in itself, is something constantly changing.

The Apollo analogy is just to highlight how facts can still be belief.

You have a belief in what current science has given explanations on for observable things in life. You yourself have no proof. You can point and say Thats the planet Neptune but its still because you believe in the current scientific findings.

Im only saying to believe that gods dont exist is a belief as well. Whether its based on science or not.

Hopefully that makes more sense.

jesus fucking christ, this dude should definitely stick to being a PokemonExpert and stop trying to be a TheologyExpert, cuz he has absolutely no idea what the difference between evidence and claims and arguments is, or what a theory in the scientific sense is, and he has absofuckinglutely no understanding of how science is done or what the scientific method is, and watching him assert that he knows anything about any of that is simultaneously laughable and pathetic

You are somehow worse at arguing than the creationist who posts one sentence as evidence.
