The last post in the topic came after the 24-hour mark, which means SUPER MARIO 64 is our Game of Gen 5! Thanks for voting everyone! I'm gonna take a bit of a break from running these but I'll have gen 6 hopefully within the next couple of months. Probably just going back to 64 entrants since the pacing of this was pretty rough. Also Marvel vs. Capcom is the sides bracket winner.

Oh damn I also missed it and would have easily voted for OoT. Honestly think OoT holds up super well after all this time and SM64...not so much. Oh well. SM64 might be the most nostalgic game in the world for me and there's no denying its pioneering legacy.

Not a bad finals! Hard to say sm64 was the absolute best, but movement felt so good, the hub world was amazing and comfy, and the volume of secrets was ideal

We could also very easily just do like 4 matches a day is read of 2 to speed it up if we went with a higher number of entrant's

for sure, Gen 4, 5, 6 are the biggest by a long shot. We can just do 4 matches a day instead of 2
