Far easier to say you vote on social media than to actually do it. In fact it's a lot more simpler to complain about the election process than to actually participate and effect the change you'd like to see.

You should have to have some kind of skin in the game to make big policy decisions. Why should someone who doesn't pay taxes vote on a tax levy? They contribute nothing, they should get no say.

Taking it further but for the same reason, not sure why anyone other than propery owners are allowed to vote. When you own land, you have a vested decision in good government policy.

Honestly, it'll never make a difference. Politicians generally don't actually give a single fuck about people, and it's evidenced by everything they do. They just do whatever keeps them in people's minds and their wallets padded. World would probably be better off of every major leader was replaced by a fucking Kardashian lol.

But, I still vote. Just with the knowledge regardless of the political party we'll still be flying towards oblivion, but at least I can pretend I did something to help on a grand scale.

I only dont vote because Im in Indiana. My vote will never count for anything.

If I had a following of some sort, Id advocate folks to vote tho.

But voting individually? Waste of time.

I personally don't vote because I'm not eligible to vote (because I'm not registered to vote), therefore I legally cannot vote. Anyway, part of the reason I choose not to vote is because I'm uneducated and I feel that I should not have an opinion on elections. Why would you trust your votes to people who don't know what they're talking about? Then you will have people who vote for Trump because "he has nice hair.". IMO, in order to qualify to vote, you should have to take an exam that tests your knowledge of politics, American history and current events.
