I try to do Abyss but I'm so lazy about it. Most of the time so far I get the 12* for the Pass and don't bother with 11-12. Though I should, for the crystals. I just hate it though, it's dull.

See, this is why I don't do Abyss at all. And you know what? I have every five-star I want in this game. In fairness, I don't have cons on any of them... but if we're being fair, there isn't a five star in this game that needs cons, either.

Damn, finally. Been trying to get a 5* flower from the Millelith set for Layla but one was absolutely refusing to drop. Poor girl been running around with 4* placeholder. One finally dropped and rng gave me 22% HP on it to boot. Thx <3

the game definitely somehow knows. i still need a detter husk def% sands, and the game loves giving me def artifacts when i don't want them. but now that i need one? suddenly the well has seemingly dried up

Think the game is telling me that I'm only allowed to play Electro characters. Spent a bit to get more primogems to supplement my stash of 8000 to wish on the Raiden card and walked away with Raiden, my c1 Kequin, and Kujou Sara for the first time, then 3 times after that

Ive been working the Emblem domain for weeks now and still dont have the necessary drops. My Yae Miko is still using mediocre shit and both Sara and Shinobu are still missing pieces.

My Wanderer. Kinda makes me mad that his Crit Dmg isn't at least 200, but for that to happen I would need a Shimenawa piece with 25%+ Crit Dmg and I'm not feeling lucky lol

Yae is better off with 2 thunder fury + 2 18% atk or 80em set. Her skill damage is significant and you don't want to nerf it by attempting to fuel her burst with ER artifacts. It's not that important that she bursts off of cool down, so you can forgo ER altogether and just use her burst when it's available and convenient.

She's only C2 but since I have C6 Kazuha, C6 Heizou, C1 Xiao and C0 Wanderer... might as well have their premier buffer built

Nabbed a primordial jade winged spear off the normal banner and I dont think I have a single character that can use it.

Decided to finally use him, and you know what? Tighnari is actually really good, especially with an Electro applicator.

I think it's hilarious that I have several C6 five-star characters, but at the end of the day none of them can even come close to the DPS ballistics of this team. Seriously, it's just ludicrous. A really hyperinvested Childe International is fucking broken. I don't know any other way to describe it. You can tear down a bulky boss so quickly, the only thing that stops you is an immorality phase.

Xiangling with Engulfing Lightning in Severed Fate literally out-DPSes most C6 5-star characters.

I'm still just waiting for Dehya. I have her with just one 10 and then hopefully her weapon is good and I'll just sink the rest into that.

I'm so excited for Dehya. I'm so excited for 3.4, too. New region, can finally see what's up with that freaky desert tornado, and it'll be more opportunities to save up for 3.5.

Childe international has progressively risen to the top of the most common team comps. This matches my personal experience - It's just so good.

Id love to use Bennet more but I just cant get over that his healing stops at 70%.

Healing is junk unless you're running a Nahida Nuke. Bennett is for the atk buff.

Got all the gadgets and stuff iirc. My NRE is loaded with hundreds of Noelles pancakes and almost 9000 sweet madames. I almost never use it because why use a consumable when I have a healer whos skill does that for free?

Its a mental thing. If Im not using him in place of my healer, he takes my sub/burst dps slot, and I value Raiden more than him in my teams.

Teams need to have a shielder, a healer, a sub/burst dps, and a main dps. I cant bring myself to deviate unless theres a mechanical issue in a fight or for my regional specialties/exploration traversal team.

Bennets point is to be a buffer and burst DPS. But if he doesnt play the way you want a team member to play, Im certainly not going to try to hard sell him lol

The heal from his EB is amazingly strong even if not the point of it. Made Barbara look pathetic by comparison.

Current team is Keqing - Bennett - Raiden - Kaeya. Not sold on Kaeya, but haven't really liked Kaeya that much

A few options:

Dendro put Keqing back on the map so I recommend switching in Collei. You could do something like Keqing/Collei/Bennett/Sayu, which should be able to handle most puzzles and stuff in the overworld.

If you need more damage you could do Raiden/Sara/Bennett/Xiangling which is strong against bosses (but will also blow away small enemies with overload so keep that in mind) or you could do a melt team with Kaeya/Rosaria/Bennett/Xiangling.

IIRC everyone else is 2sec a tick or so.
I think Yaoyao will have weak heals that AoE heal+damage every 1 sec on skill and 3x per second on burst?

just realised my artifacts for yelan are mostly garbage. i guess i didn't notice until now because she was doing great damage anyway. think i'll add getting better artifacts for her onto my todo list.

Ayato is a good dps if you have characters that synergize with him, but Raiden is more universally useful. She not only batteries other characters' bursts but also does good damage with her own burst. She can fit into a bunch of teams utilizing reactions such as overload, quicken/aggravate, superconduct, vapeload (vaporize + overload), electrocharged and hyperbloom.

Ayato is a really weird character. By purely objective metrics, he's actually really good. His on field damage is excellent, and he's really easy to use. His ultimate is still the only large off field hydro application AOE. If you're not at the end game, he's actually a really nice character for using in the overworld.

The thing is though, the way his skill works is that it doesn't last very long and then goes into a short, but maybe not quite short enough, cool down phase. It makes his rotation timing kind of weird. In addition to that, he synergizes really well with electro but for some reason he just doesn't work that well with Xiangling and I can't quite figure out why. I mean I got him and his weapon, so I was expecting to wreck face with him, but on teams that are actually meta, Childe just seems to work better. Also, at high enough investment, Childe's Ult easily offsets the difference in normal on field damage between the two. But again, that's only at high investment.

The TLDR for me is that I think he's a great character for people who aren't at the very end game, because he's easy to build, easy to use, and quite strong. He starts to fall off in the Spiral Abyss mostly because his timings don't line up with a lot of characters. Unless you run him in taser, in which case he's probably the best in the game.

Like Childe, he's very C0 friendly too.
