Peri may honestly be the worst character in the game (and the only reason it's not definitive is because this cast is absolute garbage to the point where she actually has competition for that title.) When Hans commits mass murder, he's a monster that needs to be stopped. When Peri commits mass murder, it's her quirky character trait. Maybe if Nohr was the unapologetic villains that they should've been, Peri would've been excusable, but they try to make Xander appear as a good guy, so there's no reason why he made Peri one of his retainers.

Peri is unfairly judged by the Fire Emblem fanbase who are biased against characters with multicolour hair.

Need to get a list of every multicolor hair unit and check their team viability.

If you only ever plan on using swords and Dragonstones on Corrin then sure, this would make sense. The Str and Def growths support this and you may as well have the more supportive skillset this way.

I can assure you it's definitely worth your time raising Nohr Noble though. It creates a much more offensively capable Corrin, not just with the addition of tomes but the skills they learn, which are superb.

NN tends to be the more popular of the two in general, but neither is that much better than the other for there to be a 'correct' answer. It depends on what you want out of your Corrin or what your army needs. The only exception is certain kids of Corrin would definitely want one over the other.

Honestly one of my favorite chapters.

Tomes are useful in this game even if your magic stat is only middling because it gives you a two range weapon that can double.

There are definitely some moments of interest here in the Conquest story, like breaking bread with the Hoshidans in neutral territory.

It's really just the entire concept that drags it down more than anything.

This was one of the dumbest chapters, plot wise. Zola wins the war for Nohr, but Corrin says "That's not honorable!" as if Nohr isn't a bunch of villains and decides to fight Zola instead. It's even dumber because this is the second chapter in a row where that happens.
