Because when I had this same role in a different suprak game all I could do was double vote and my second account could not be voted or targeted.

So why did suprak change it?

Let's not meta this too much. The role is I can send PMs and that role can be targeted. If the Suprak role is killed before me, his flip will be blank. If I am killed, the Suprak role dies too. If you want to test out the Suprak flip, be my guest, but that will be a waste of a day.

To guess, I'd say he changed it to be different from the last game. That's probably all there is to it, since this role is TOWN. It's not scum, it's not third-party. The role literally works the way I explained.

I learned that Sultan can be town. I know anyone can be town. I've decided not to tunnel the tunneler this time, which is a big step. MZero is simply someone I suspected and notice how I just dropped it.

I wasn't in that game. The game where I BSed your mislynch was Nickelodeon Mafia. And that was the only time I rolled scum, and the only time I could con people with "Help me I'm a noob." I can't do that again. If I was scum again, I guarantee I wouldn't be posting anywhere near as much and would be more careful since I'm kind of a perfectionist.

Four years ago I had a massive meltdown and modkilled myself in Blade Mafia because nobody was listening to me that Corrik was scum. Major dysregulation. (Corrik was scum that game btw).

Nickelodeon Mafia was the first time I played since then and I've played a couple since. Replaced out in one of them because I had a meltdown unrelated to the game. Am hoping I don't have to do that again here because I am recovering from one.

Hey BCT when you're around again can you elaborate on what this means:

A: I may not post anything Suprak might consider tampering. This is all.

This means I can't confuse players with purported messages from the host. Like I can't submit STOPs, fake vigilante kills, or false game announcements. Suprak will refuse to post anything of the sort. Those posts have to come from a player perspective and not that of the host.

I am more inclined to believe you're Town what with you hanging around and stuff. Same to Corrik.

I want to believe I'm right about Scare/Ben but I'm trying to put myself into a mindset of agreeing to a lynch. I just want to see people who are fixated on the pair demonstrate that they're not just tunneling based on claims and would be considerate of the gamestate if so-and-so flips Town.

I mean, it's one thing for someone to not look elsewhere because they are sure and want the flip. It's another thing for someone to say "I need to see more flips" and then not be able to logic out anything based on a hypothetical flip.

Why do you think Scare shot Lopen, then?

I still think flameproof or whatever Ben claimed makes way more sense for a scum role in this context, especially considering Bens fixation on a potential arsonist

The first two things I said were an explanation for why you might be being defensive.

The last thing I said is true. You know I can get emotional in these games, and you know I play worse when I do.

And it's not an odd turnaround - you were absent last night after checking in at the start of day, and now you've reemerged to do more. More content gives more reason to believe in you being Town.

The reason I said you were my pick for snake in the grass is probably the same reason I'm not feeling good about Corrik - there's a ton of attention on Ben/Scare, and when things get a lot of attention like that, I tend to like to look elsewhere, especially if it's players I'm not directly involved with.

I disagree on the pair of them being Scum, so I'm a little blinded by what I see from you as just being a focus on something I don't agree with. Otherwise, I've had trouble finding anything from you that I see as being as indicative as when I've found you Town in the past.

That's basically it - MI's posts struck me as being particularly logical and comprehensive and such. It looks like a Town player trying to determine truth in other things. I have trouble finding the same sort of feeling about what you've done this game - hence why I put you as my pick for snake in the grass.

Why not just wait for BCT to actually be modkilled?
Or put some sort of qualifier - "If BCT is getting modkilled here, then let's shoot Lopen".

IDK it just seems weird for it to play out that way. And what Scare said for why he shot - it's weird. It's not the sort of thing I would expect someone to say if they were coming up with a reason why they shot. And even still, I wouldn't expect an insta-claim.

I guess I just wonder what the operable difference is in Scum getting Isquen lynched vs shooting him at night vs roleblocking him at night, and how that relates to how Scare looks?

In two versions, Isquen dies and is revealed as not Mafia. Is getting Isquen lynched really that big of a change from shooting him?

Shooting him reveals wanting to stop his shot, specifically. Lynching him could have been town driven.

Scare is definitely too busy for mafia anymore and just likes to come back for Suprak games. I also think that's a good argument for why it's pointless for some people to suggest he, as Town, would have waited to use a shot.

But it's not about optimal play for me, it's about "does Scum do this"? And the answer I came up with was that maybe a Scum BCT would take the shot through Suprak slot and then a Scummate would have to bail him out - but Scare was already expressing suspicion of Lopen before then, so that seems a little less likely.

FWIW, I talked through JC about Ctes, and JC seemed to adjust based on the talk which makes me think he's more Townish, and if the conclusion of our talk was that Ctes voted based on feeling rather than logic, then that points to Ctes being Town since it's impossible for Scum to think someone else is Scum based on feeling.

If Scare flips town... idk it would probably depend a lot on who dies that night. But knowing that town has two extra kills would make me think... what would it make me think? It would probably make think not a whole lot since I'm not seeing a link from that to anything else in the current game state. It would make me think that fireproof is more likely to be scum maybe, but idk if I'd heavily push for that. I'd probably want to start focusing on the pool of people who have been more inactive and flying under the radar. The JC/ctes/plum like players.

I haven't really thought about it in depth at all but I've been of the mindset that Ben flipping Town would not be much cause for people to reevaluate Scare.

Scare flipping Town means that Ben wasn't saving Scare, per se.
Ben flipping Town doesn't really mean anything retroactively to Scare's position.

That's where my mind is, anyway.

This is a good wisdom.

My hesitations on Plum atm are:

1. People said Stan was weird, but Stan has not been playing games, and I find when players are non consistent players, or are new, they play weird. Isquen plays weird. And since I was wrong on Isquen's weirdness, I don't want to be wrong on Stan's.
2. I want redemption and it made me see Plum's posts this day as Scummish and I'm second-guessing myself.
