Han came into the game and just tried to make something happen. His claims against Isquen were frankly pretty weak. He also in my opinion is suffocating the game by trying to dictate to the game. The fact this only happens after the Lopen shot may or may not have any correlation.

You are correct your post about Han was about him being a target and not the one shooting as others thought.

I couldn't even personally figure out what Lopen died from at this point, and they are already making jokes about this and Ben seems to know even before Scare admits it.

I thought it was the most obvious thing that Scare was claiming the shot. *shrug* Especially when right before this he was asking me "Are you SURE you think Lopen is town?"

I think its time i look at the player list and figure out who the scum are.Nothing but a lot of town reads right now. I've come around on Corrik being town. If he's not town then holy shit is he good.

Btw I amend my earlier statement that Ben caught heat because he wasn't posting.
Ben was already in hot water way before that.
I dont think it even died down much after the Lopen shot.

I will say his actions line up with what one would expect from his claimed role.
As soon as he came back after Isquens claim, he retracted the unlynchable claim and asked Isquen a question.
I cant find anything contradictory there.

This post. I have questions.

So you did this pretty immediately after I said Isquen was an Arsonist. You say you dont know what an Arsonist is, that you're not sure you buy this, and you realize i havent actually claimed my role. But you vote for Isquen anyway with the final note that you "Dont want to risk it". How is leaving your vote on Isquen less risky than leaving it on me? Your vote was on me just prior to this, so i went from being your biggest suspect to the person who its a risk to NOT vote with?

As I mentioned earlier Corrik was pretty clearly feigning a counter train in ben end of day 1. It never felt especially realistic or pushed.

A scum corrik isn't doing that to a town Ben which means Ben and Corrik are scum. Ben being the more likely train to gain steam

I didn't know Isquen was going to flip town. (Heck how could anyone know besides Isquen?)

I do want ctes to answer a question though. ctes, when you kept your vote on Ben you said "If Isquen is town I really doubt Ben is scum." (Topic 4 post 50, once again). But then today you said "I still think Ben looks terrible". Why the flip?

I agree with Han that plum's scumlist doesn't make any sense but I'm not sure I have the requisite knowledge to be able to appreciate exactly what a 'plum scum post' is. Generally in agreement with the pressure on him though.

On the topic of people who I feel truly haven't been scumhunting, SBell has not been impressing me today. He's been around and present and most of his actual effort has been going into BCT in extreme detail, who he thinks is 3P. He occasionally chimes in but the bulk of his chiming in has been responding to other people without adding much substantive content. I certainly haven't gotten the impression SBell has been actually scumhunting. I iso'd his entire previous topic and the only person I really got a sense of who he had any feelings about was BCT.

I think SBell tunneling BCT here supports one or both of Scare and Ben being scum (though I think them both being scum is not at all likely) and he's trying to divert attention to an alternate lynch, which makes me feel better about BCT at the very least not being scum.

With respect to the ongoing Scare/Ben/Isquen situation, I'm in agreement that Ben and Scare likely aren't scumbuddies so I have to pick one. At the moment I think I'm somewhat inclined to give Ben the benefit of the doubt overall because his D1 story fits overall with his claim, and several of his posts today have come across as particularly town. Does scum Ben go "hey this is a SUPER town BCT post" if BCT isn't his scumbuddy? I'm just also really not inclined to believe Scare's role at this point, and I don't like his explanations for why he voted.

If Ben is lynched and flips scum, I will have to re-evaluate my reads on SBell/BCT given that scum Ben promoting BCT as town makes a lot less sense, making BCT more scummy. If BCT is more scummy, it makes SBell less scummy since I doubt they'd be scumbuddies.

At that point I honestly didn't think that a 3P arsonist could coexist with two town daykilling roles. I was ready to come into the day thinking Ben had lied about being fireproof until the red flip.

Anyway what I wanted to do was focus on the unlynchable claim of his and see how many players even took that seriously. But it seems almost nobody did... I only cant tell with Han since he did say he agreed with Lea wanting to test Ben. (But Lea was joking in that instance)

Rereading all the Ben stuff did make me think that Ben wasn't acting to save Scare at all. It all comes across as happening in spite of Scare's actions, not because of it.

To exposit on my thought train a little
I felt that if Ben were town, there might be at least one scum gullible enough to believe his claim. (or a townplayer who would be in character for believing it, like BCT)
And if he were scum, there might be some players avoiding the topic a bit too easily.

I dont know what Ben is yet (besides frustrating), but I wanted to get those thoughts written down ahead of that revelation.

I'm not unlynchable. That was my planned fake claim coming into the game that I was going to make post 1. I thought it was pretty clever. But the Suprak slot existing ruined that because no one was going to believe there are two people they cant lynch.

I also lost track of Scare, though Scare himself claims to have lost track of the game as a whole.
Looking at his overall day2 output, he started decent but then posted less and less. When he's caught up I'd like for him to give his top scum and top town reads. For starters.

As for scum hunting I've always been better at town clearing.

I've already checked off Chang, Sultan, I had Isquen all but cleared till he got lynched.
