The non organic ones are not much better now. Luckily my Walmart hasn't raised the price of the twin pack yet so it's still $7.32.

I doubt there is a shortage. Manufacturers are gouging people now because the pandemic for the most part isn't causing any delays etc but people know if there is less of something, they can charge more for it.

I went to buy a 24 pak of coke and it was priced at $12.99 and I remember not that long ago (say a year or so ago) they were selling in my area for $8.99 and 12 paks were going for $4.99 and now 12's are going $7.99 and in some stores $8.99.

Coffee tastes great, so does kombucha, a lot of teas. You can make a healthy pizza from scratch, you don't need to get a Digornio or Papa John's. I don't know, soda to me is just the absolute bottom of the barrel choice. At least even a carry-out pizza holds some level of nutritional value. Even a pecan pie will give you some protein and antioxidants. But to each their own, we all have vices of course.

Cheese isn't inherently bad for you, not sure where that kind of thing gets started and goes around. I'm sure it has to do with decades of incorrect stigma about fats and/or the general association of cheese being paired with some unhealthy foods. Anyway, sorry for making you go in depth on it, I really just meant my comment as an aside. I do honestly hope you maintain a good balance of things too, wellbeing is as equally important as satisfaction.

So if you made some kind of whole grain dough without separating the germ and you make a sauce from tomatoes and you used vegetables and cold pressed olive oil, that's unhealthy? Because that's really weird you'd say that. These are all ingredients found in many common dishes that aren't labeled unhealthy, but somehow stacking those and putting them in an oven makes them unhealthy? The populace is somehow not banding together and realizing if we all just agreed to not buy eggs for two weeks, we could collectively tank the market and drive prices through the floor. But people lack the motivation, hopefulness, and/or ambition to try such a hilariously easy manuver. If someone can't go two weeks without eating an egg, I would be surprised to learn that they know how to tie their shoes.
