One of the strongest telepaths in all of Marvel, genius level intellect(she made guns to swap minds and tech that can detect mutants, alongside outsmarting Xavier himself on occasion, plus her running a fortune 500 company), plus she's got multiple mutations as well as being the clear best choice in romantic partner for Cyclops, who is the best male X-Man.

Fight me, CE!

Not bad choices either! The only bad choice is Jean Grey...ugh.

Emma and Cyclops were always my favorite though. With Wolverine and Rogue a close second.

She was originally a villain but switched sides, and ever since she's basically been doing stuff that seems shady but is always a 'heart in the right place' situation.

Like the time she joined Norman Osborn's dark X-Men and basically worked as an informant for Cyclops and betrayed them at the best possible time.

She's loyal and trustworthy to those that matter. But she's not above killing to get things done.https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/1/2/7/AARI02AAEGe3.jpg

She's no more a ho than any other male or female character in comics. Her heart belongs to Cyclops, though. And I wish they'd drop the toxic-ass relationship of him and Jean and stick to the superior one!

Ehm.

I do like Domino and Armor a ton. And Kitty is always gonna be one of my favorites. Recently, even, Kitty and Emma have been extremely close apparently. I need to catch up on X-Men but I suck at doing so lol. I even have a sub to Marvel Unlimited!

That's a huge plus for me. God I hate when heroes get so stupid with the "omg we can't kill ever" rule. I've complained about this a few times on here, but Spider-Man pissed me off so much with it during the first Spider-Verse event with the inheritors. Literal immortal demon vampires are killing different Spider-men by the hundreds, and one of them manages to (temporarily) kill one and Peter lost his shit. "What are you doing?! We're heroes! We don't kill!!" Lost all respect for him with that lol.Pretty sure it was right after this said immortal killed another one of the Spider-Men...and since he's immortal, of course he came back. Wasn't even a real kill and Peter still lost his shit.

I have the sub too. I need to get back on it lol. I haven't been reading much lately. But I only got into comics last year and haven't read a lot in general yet. I've read every single Spider-Woman run since the 2000s Origins, some Avengers stuff like the Secret Invasion (mostly for Spider-Woman), Civil War 2, the last 2 Silk runs, a few of the Spider-Verse events, some of the recent X-Men runs, and Carnage's current run. Read some other things too though including some DC stuff.

I think Spider-Woman might be my favorite Marvel character right now. She was the 3rd comic book character I bought (first were Naomi and Silk and I thought Silk was trash). I loved how ruthless she appeared in the first issue of her last run. Too bad it wasn't her normal personality and she was just raging out from that medicine and isn't quite THAT ruthless lol. But I still like her overall. She's not above killing either. Man did they fucking do her dirty in Spider-Man's comic, I heard.

I get that, with Spidey though I always go back to him being a bit...broken. Kinda like Batman in a way. So I can get it, kinda. Though him critiquing them for killing an immortal being is...weird.

And yeah, Spider-Woman being so tied to Spidey himself kinda drags her down honestly. And it sucks, because I always found her interesting as a character.

Yea, that was my biggest gripe. Like bro. These beings are immortal. And they are committing genocide. I think at that point they even knew they were immortal and that the guy was gonna come back in a few minutes/days.

And yea, I knew absolutely nothing about her (other than the fact she existed and had a 70s cartoon) just a year ago. I bought her comic on a whim since I was disappointed in Silk. I was just looking to get my feet wet into the comic world, and I wanted to start with learning more about the other Spider characters. I fell in love with Spider-Woman like from the first page or two of her 2020 run lol. Also, since I feel no nostalgia towards the red suit, and the fact I hate the color red, I actually liked her black suit she wore for a few issues in her last run lol. Although I do agree with the common complaint that the webbing shouldn't have been done as it makes her look more like she's team Spidey when she's actually her own thing.

I loved her red suit myself, the first time I heard about her was Marvel Ultimate Alliance, where she calls Spidey cute, which I found hilarious.

But yeah, Jessica is awesome. And I never liked Silk as a character either. Always was a weird character. Doesn't help they tried to shack her up with Peter WHEN BLACK CAT AND MJ EXIST GRAAAH.

You should really give First Class a shot, she's in it a lot, I don't believe she has the British accent but it's been a while since i've seen the movie. There's a lot of bad X-Men movies, but First Class and Days of Future Past are worth watching imo. I think if you are a fan, you'll appreciate both, and the variety of characters along with the stories. Logan is amazing.

I do, and she very easily is. I was talking about Jean.

Exodus ranked her in his top 5 telepaths(next to himself, Jean, Xavier, etc), she's outplayed Xavier himself(who is arguably the 2nd strongest current telepath).

Let's not forget, Emma sent a telepathic message to every mutant on earth without cerebro.

She's incredibly powerful and she's adept in the thing that most matters with telepaths: adept skill and finesse. That's how she beat Rachael and Xavier both.

The idea that the classification of Omega can only belong to one mutant is dumb.

If one mutant can throw a fastball at 110 MPH and another at 111 MPH, the latter would be Omega, not the former. It's a dumb classification system that's just an attempt to try and reel in power creep but it only makes the term more or less an award.

It's not a title, and isn't held by only one mutant.

From the writer himself at Marvel:
defining the term "omega level mutant" as "A mutant whose dominant power is deemed to register -- or reach -- an undefinable upper limit of that power's specific classification." In other words, it refers to a mutant whose capability with their mutant gift, at least in theory, cannot be surpassed.
Almost every mutant on that list of 14 is currently alive, and more than one is a telepath.

Even by the classification it gives itself, it should logically mean there can't be 2 Omega telepaths. The one who can hit 111 is the Omega. The one who can hit 110 isn't. Yet Hope and Jean are both there despite it making no sense.

It's just an award. Not a classification. The classification being broad makes more sense overall, because of this.

It addresses that in the Magneto v Forge comparison.

Forge isn't an Omega level for one reason: he has shown the upper limits of his power and someone else went beyond that.
Emma is in the same boat. She has shown the upper levels of her power and been surpassed.

Look at the telepaths on the list.
Quentin Quire. He has not shown the upper limits of his power yet, as he is still quite young.
Same with Hope and Rachel.
Their upper limit hasn't been determined, but by telepath standard they are far far above the rest.

Look at Ice Man. Not a single being alive with ice based powers has surpassed his greatest feats, and his power keeps growing.

So pretty much what makes someone Omega lv isn't necessarily their raw power in a ability or even being the best. But their theatrical limit and weather or not said limit has or can ever be surpassed.

A little weird but it sorta makes sense. Even if it kind gives the FU to anyone near, at or above their lv, but are likely near their limit and will inevitably be surpassed. So they don't classify as Omega.

Also I heard that Storm shouldn't be Omega by this definition because Thor can also control the weather and is arguably superior.
