It was very entertaining but it was so depressing and there wasn't many likable characters, pretty much everyone was a piece of shit except for Spiderman, and they made up for that by mentally torturing the fuck out of him. At one point Captain America finds out that Ant-Man(Hank Pym) was abusing Wasp pretty badly(He sprayed her with a can of RAID while she was tiny over a silly domestic dispute), so Cap decides to beat the living fuck out of Ant-Man. The Phoenix is a cosmic entity(notice how power a Herald of Galactus becomes). Thus having even a fraction of it's power makes the host of said power gain a big power-up. Hence why Emma can survive being shattered, then re-materalize, something she's never been able to do before.
