But there have been a few splintered alternate realities where Scott married Emma, and had children with her. It's weird they're now pushing a 'Wolverine x Scott x Jean' thing. Not just because it makes no sense, but also because every single time Wolverine has pursued Jean he's been rebuffed and told no and that she wasn't interested. Hell, I think it got borderline pervy at times, so this is Marvel pretty much saying 50 nos and a yes, is a yes. I think Jean Grey is alive in The End universe, as is Cyclops and Emma, who are married with many children. But she never chooses Logan, to my knowledge. Hell, even in 616 Logan is never even in Jean's peripheral in terms of romance that I remember. Someone mentioned Ultimate they do after betrayal of Scott. Her diamond form nullifies her ability to use her telepathy, as well as others to use their telepathy on her(unless you're a dumb Mary Sue), but increases her strength tenfold. She's about Spider-Man tier when she activates it. And it's durable enough that World War Hulk decided to stick her in the ground instead of dealing with her. She's tanked attacks from Celestials with it. Anyway, her history is pretty simple. She was originally part of the Hellfire Club, a group of villains that are basically what the Illuminati are supposed to be. She was the technology expert(she made a gun that switched minds ffs) among that also the White Queen. She obviously did a LOT of stuff on her path to the top that's less than savory. She eventually joins the X-Men. She helps Iceman with his psychological issues via telepath therapy(at some point she gains control of his body and pushes him to his absolute limits, which is well beyond what Bobby was capable of). Then she did the same to Scott Summers...and fell in love with him. She and Scott had a mind affair. Scott eventually called it off after Jean killed Emma and revived her. Jean dies, and telepathically gave Scott permission to be involved with Emma. Emma and Scott were together for quite a long period of time. And she was allied with the X-Men too, where she did a few things: - Fake betrayed the X-Men and joined Norman Osborn's Dark X-Men, then betrayed them for real at the perfect time. - Hosted the Phoenix Force for a good minute. - Had thousands of kid clones(though only 5 active). Pretty much killed for the most part by the Phoenix Force. - Was one of the Phoenix Five, who practically began to create world peace by ending all wars, providing free food and water, among other things. PF makes all 5 slowly go crazy. Cyclops ends up stealing her portion and goes crazier. They break up after this. - Joined with Kitty as a pirate. They also made up btw and became the bestest of best friends, with a hint of lesbian subtext. She was teaching there and only survived thanks to the ability manifesting in an extreme situation. This was after she had helped Iceman with his powers, hence why I like to think their interaction had a hand in her diamond mutation, since it did not take effect last time her Hellions were massacred and she was put in a coma. ... At the bare minimum, Emma and Cyclops should've had more control over it. And Illyana third behind them. But at least we got some cool scenes out of it! Even if it should have been better.
