Two colossal nations were locked in War.... Keves and Agnus. But none of that matters now because this is mafia and we are going to skip to the part where the true enemy is revealed. Keves and Agnus have teamed up to form the TOWN, and are united against their common enemy - Moebius.

You see, Moebius have figured out how to live forever, and they do it by stealing the lifespans of everyone else. To keep in spirit with the lore, if this mafia game goes on for 10 IRL years it will automatically end with a Moebius victory. (There, there's your anti-stall mechanic. I thought of everything!)

This is where our story begins... *whimsical piano noises*

It is odd asking this question but I have been mulling for hours how to play this.

Are roles that scan scum that are not clearly labeled as millers banned?

Because if not I am a Miller

To clarify, nothing in my role indicates I scan scum, but after reading the role I have huge eyebrow raising going on

Anyone want to tag me when the game really gets started? My time is going to be so limited that I really don't want to waste it reading the joke phase or trying to analyze when people have started being serious.

Also if anyone wants to volunteer to give me runs downs when I ask they will be granted immunity from suspicion and will essentially be a double voter this game because I will give them my vote whenever they ask for it.

oh sorry i worded that in the worst possible way. i didn't mean 'flavor split' in terms of alignment. i meant in the most basic sense do some/many people have flavor of classic movie characters compared to what I expected (everyone being XB3 characters)

People asking about flavour, I am not a character at all.

Not everyone played in that last game so you can't rule it out! Would it be as weird as having a non-xb3 character in xb3 Mafia?

That being said i know basically nothing about the flavor so i Googled "xenoblade 3 Johnny lawrence" and the only hit was a reddit post of a crappy drawing from two years ago, with two unvotes and one auto-moderator bot comment.

My role makes me want a mass, but a mass would be infinitely better if it happened before I claimed what my role was

Plum feels like he's trying very hard to emulate his town persona. 8 posts, they almost all seem to be him having conversations with himself, he's partially claimed, questioned the flavor split and called for a mass claim all in the first 40 posts.

More of a counter claim than a counter vote, but it's early so I'll cut you some slack there.

Can we please stop it with the early confident announcements of town alignments? You are allowed to keep notes to yourself on a little note pad app on your phone or pc.
